Actually CCR is my favorite group ever listening from the start in 68 with Suzie Q. Fortunate Son, Up around the Bend, Traveling Band Night Time is the Right Time. Also their main hits Proud Mary, Who'll stop the Rain, Born on the Bayou and more.

Thoroughly enjoyable reaction and I love this band and this is off their first album. Man I have a musician and I've played in bands in my whole life and I've actually covered at least four of their songs in bands always took great audience response. But I really love how you're expecting that Stinger at the end. But they didn't do it it's just implied. But yeah you just want there to be a stinger so much for that final hit. I think it's cool that you drew attention to it.

The original was "Screaming Jay Hawkins" - You'll find it on KZbin. CCR made it their own. After so many listens, we still feel like how you feel. Try "The Penthouse Pauper" by CCR. You won't be disappointed, I promise. And you'll be the fist reactor to react to it.

For sure check out Screaming J Hawkins original. Quite different style. To be in the minority here my favorite cover of it it Angelina Jordan's. It is more soul jazz than soul pop - just my opinion. Her backup band is the Norwegian national orchestras jazz section so they are really good jazz. You might listen to it without watching it for the first half, that would be fun.

@@stevedotwood you sure about that? I find it hard for anyone with basic upside uploading to isolate track elements for copyright reasons. That process takes certain software and access to digital masters.

@@stevedotwood Again, You sure about that? because the rhythm guitar with the drums and bass during that break was enough to grove on. How do you know what a "first time" listener was hearing? Only She can tell us if she heard a lead guitar in front of the rhythm guitar in that piece. Chances are that we heard exactly what she heard because [no disrespect to her] that she wouldn't be able to take John Fogerty's lead guitar OFF the track herself unless that was the version given to her or her audio software connection is faulty just like when your headphones aren't properly plugged in and you only hear certain frequencies until you fully connect the jack... Think about it
