Rob's Nerdy Knives took apart his, bearings were similar to Oz Machine's. Ceramic balls set in white delrin/nylon looking plastic, and riding on nylon washers to keep off the Ti frame. Very cool design by QC to keep it completely corrosion resistant. Will eventually pick one of these up, just gotta get through the holidays. Cheers Kev!

It’s such a well made knife. Just about as good as it gets. I put a universal thumb stud on mine. Very satisfying detent and lockup.

How did you you put a thumb stud on it?

@ there’s a short on my channel. It’s a universal thumb stud so I just slid it into place on the inner side of the hole and then tightened it down with a hex key.

Looks like the Nine and the Drift L had a baby. I'm probably in the minority, but I wish they had gone for washers instead of bearings. I suppose Skiff washers could be an option.

The regular drift L is imo the best knife they ever did for a edc knife. There washer knives are so good that bearings aren't needed for good action.

I had a Ti Drift and loved it mostly. I felt the Vanax was hard to keep a hair popping edge on.. Its like it was always 'working' sharp, so I moved it on. Maybe that's just Vanax.. Am I crazy?

Idk ive used Vanax quite a bit and it holds an edge really well. I like a bitey edge.
