When Roy is listening to the poem 😂 Chris O'Dowd is absolutely brilliant. I was always taught acting isn't about how you say your own lines, it's about how you listen and react to the other actors' lines. This is one fantastic example.

Friendface was only a couple of years old! This episode ages particularly well! "I love this, I feel so social!" "So many people I don't care about are getting back in touch! Oh, there's another one" We've all been utterly brainwashed into submissive freaks, it's embarrassing! Still must watch another million ads before this one episode finishes. 😂

I think Friend Face is a reference to Face Book and the now defunct UK social website called Friends Reunited, which aimed at re-uniting people with their former classmates. Friends Reunited became infamous, as it grew renowned for purportedly breaking up the marriages of people, whose partners paired off with their former childhood sweethearts / crushes with whom they had reconnected, via its website.
