I like the color scheme. Bummer that this has kind of fallen out of fashion in the meantime and nowadays most mansions are just plain white on the inside, which I find boring and unimaginative. This is much cozier, more interesting and more pleasing to the eye. Wouldn't be surprised to hear though that whoever bought the house and is selling it again now (since rich people never seem to keep a house for long, for some reason), also painted it white, which would be a shame.
