I don’t know, as much as I love Unwound’s Vocals, Jay Reatard could scream-sing in different tones and melody almost, never got that was driving home a point with it. Kinda apples to oranges, different bands in the vast underworld of rockn’roll tho; both are great talents.

Im from Wisconsin. I heard about Unwound from a really close friend of mine a few short years ago. I was in a car with him. He wasnt driving, but had control of the stereo. He put in; "Repitition", and almost immediately, I was like; "What is this? This is really fucking good". He said; "Oh, this is a band my parents showed me. They're called Unwound. When I first heard them, I thought they were just really weird and awkward. But Ive started to like them. They're pretty good." I loved em when I heard them. Ended up researching them, and buying every album I could find. And I must say, this was really cool to see!

@@michaelbreton7998 listen to all their albums! They're all great!! My top 3 are; Repetition, New Plastic Ideas, & Leaves Turn Inside You. It sucks Unwound isnt around anymore, because his music is really the only sensible response to the generalized insanity, blur and glut of Western civilization in its present state.
