Good fortune realising going across old cotton rows at an angle reduced drastically the blocking up

I know that the moisture is killing you guys planting. But it's always better than a long drought. Good job on the video Matt.

Good to get stuff to work out occasionally, blocking up is a real pain. I didn’t think any ACCOs got a Jimmy from the factory but it turns out from further research that some did for agitators and the fire brigade (6V53 and 71). They had a need for a bit more urgency which would be handy around the farm. Atkinsons certainly got them too, the big banger 8V92. I have a good book ‘The Acco - An Aussie Icon’ by Peter Lynch.

I assume that running on the angle means that not all the points? are cutting through the cotton rows at the same time, so easier pulling? maybe? Truck mounted cement mixer would work for the inoculation as well,.

Our feed truck doesn’t use an auger, it comes from the truck out a hose up to the silo, somehow, not sure how it works but runs off the diesel truck motor. Much less hassle than the auger.

I think it’s only putting a few more ponies in, main reason was to help it run cooler and a bit better on fuel. It was actually the old chip we had on the cr9080 that we had laying around so we though we might as well use it😂

You can but it does a better job going a bit quicker then what the planter can, it also tends to block up more behind the planter
