My grandfather and grandmother had a shoe shop on Warwick road, my grandfather a cobler shoemaker also sold them from the shop, he was called Albert Hutchinson from all i can remember from the 60s to the late 70s early 80s. Was probably there before the 60s, i don't know because all my family passed away now, any information would be lovely to hear

A house in shot at 1:25 is for sale at the moment. The building at 1:35 on the right next to the pub belonged to my grandfather, it was a garage for talbot and hillman and part was rented to a music shop. Some of my earliest memories are out side there when we were moving in to a flat above. Aslo at 15:03 that barn might be at the farm which is/was behind the red lion pub at knotty green. If it is that barn. It used to house a steam engine called Boadicea. It belonged to the family next door in the farm house. We had a converted grooms cottage. The family was The Heals. Funnily enough I recently looked up one of the sons. I knew when i was 5 or 6. He was grown but had downs and was my beast pal at 5. It was only when i recently looked him up to see how he faired. I realised it was The heals of Heals Furniture. I rode on that traction engine quite a few times and spent hours watching the Heals tinkering and polishing. Or playing with their donkeys in the field near by

The lady you had selling candy was a young Pat Dancer who opened Five Ways tea shop. She was an incredible person who touched many peoples lives. I first met her as young kid dragged in by my thirsty mother dying for a cuppa after shopping.

Brilliant - lovely to see Beaconsfield through the ages. Can you tell me anything about the first picture of children around a may pole? Was it taken at High March School in the early 1960s? It looks very familiar to me.

I think this is about Beaconsfield in the UK not Beaconsfield on the West Island of Montreal Quebec Canada?
