“Don’t end a sentence in a preposition” is s false rule; your teacher lacks nuance if she is still instructing this. “What channel is it on?” “What are you talking about?” “Where are you from?” All completely correct sentences. That false rule comes from trying to force English into patterns od Latin, even though they are structurally very different.
