Beautiful work. I really like you showing the stages of prepping with sanding, filler, etc. It is very tedious work. With what you have for a paint booth it looks great! I have sweated on paint too. Or lady bugs swimming though the paint. Great video, Mr. Jayhawker.

We’re working on our first square body, 1985. Your videos make us think we can do it versus outsourcing. I will watch any you post on the body work or your square body.

Love the video, perfect to wake up to and watch with my morning coffee!! I'd like to see all of the paint process personally, as much as you can show. I have a 71 C10 that I'm going to be painting myself and need all the tips and tricks I can get from you! Really love the channel, keep doing what you're doing!

I like the color, I seem to remember these trucks back in the day in a copper /white two tone paint. Love the old chev trucks, had a few over the years. Nice project.

By all means show us the work being performed on the rest of the panels. Yeah for sure this heat ( 105/106 in the afternoon) will flat take it out of a guy . Keep up the great work.

I am working on similar 1963 project in my garage. Having never done any real bodywork, I have been a bit intimidated thinking about what to do when I get to that point. I have really enjoyed watching your work. Please continue.

Bonjour monsieur Jayhawker. Sorry about the French -- I just had some of their fries. Anyhow, thanks for another video with appreciated commentary. The paint is not my color but, then, the truck is not mine, so ... I call the color Root Beer. The plant you are referring to regarding the velcro is probably burdock if you have those roundish brown ball-like spiky fruits. Otherwise, there are plants that are called "cleavers" because they do cleave to you. If I'm not mistaken (but I probably am) the licorice plant might be a cleaver. Regarding future videos, whatever you have time for, whatever you want to produce, etc., just shoot it & out it out there -- I'll be watching. As before, if you want to do another metal detecting or old history stuff (auto related or not) or handyman stuff around the house/shop that most of us probably get into -- I'm in. I like to see what others are doing because I have varied interests & I learn new stuff. Until next time, keep'er tween the ditches.

Thanks sir! I can always count on you. I drive around the country dreaming of metal detecting. But not in triple digits.

Hello! New subscriber here, do you prefer single stage over base-clear?
