A couple notes about the meal service. Warmed mixed nuts isn't particularly an AA thing. We served them in F/C 40 years ago. Also, the menu items printed aren't what you got. I know you were calling it Prime Rib but the menu showed Short Rib with asparagus & twice baked potatoes but it looked more like potato wedges & broccolini & a leek stem across the plate. The salad you showed was a caprese salad (tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil leaves) & not what AA listed.

I recently went to San Francisco via EWR. I was there to visit some relatives and until now, I would sometimes cry at night due to not seeing them anymore. Im back now in Asia and I would want to visit back but because of the lack of money and time, my parents and I would have to save up more

Key for lounge access is to have frequent flyer status, that way you can access the flagship lounges when travelling domestically regardless of we’ve you’re seated in business or just plain economy!

Huh? @12:48. that's not the salted caramel tartlet. Looks like a miss-sync with menu. Instead, that is the chocolate mouse tartlet which tends to be on the dry and bland side - glad you enjoyed! Serving food at incorrect temperatures? Wow! That could be a health and safety issue. Glad you requested proper temperatures. Question, so AA no longer serves beverages in real glassware for its premium cabins? Noted plastic/paper drinking cups through out.

I miss the Otis Spunkmyer chocolate chip cookies they used to serve... my folks used to have a lot of miles on AA, so in the early -mid 2000s we flew JFK-LAX and JFK-SAN in business a number of times, and recall one time where my brother decided to be an ass, and eat my cookies whilst I dozed off. 😂😂

You struck lucky with access to the lounge after being upgraded. A number of years ago I was upgraded to business from economy when flying Dubai to the UK but the airline wouldn't''t let me into the business lounge. (Plastic cutlery in a Business Class Lounge?)

Of course it’s not going to be better than the new Flagship Suites (Which are the same as JetBlue’s new Mint Suites) but this plane has one of the most premium heavy layouts on any commercial narrowbody jet. It doesn’t matter because their fate is sealed, these jets are going to be retrofitted with the crappy Oasis/Kodiak cabin to blend in with the rest of the A321 fleet.

San Francisco is one of those airports where you take metro train to the airport train which takes you straight to the terminal. Common thing in the United States while in Europe metro trains go right to the airport which a few airports in the U.S. are like as well

Can't speak for other airports but I know the BART to SFO was an after thought. The service started as part of an overall BART extension maybe 20 years ago. I will say that the service to the San Francisco airport is much better than what the Oakland airport got - which was a peoplemover type of service between the coliseum station and the airport terminal which requires a second charge to ride. The OAK trains replaced the "AirBart" bus service. I will agree that most European airports get it right when it comes to trains to and from the airport.

The AA Admirals Club is pretty much the worst of the worst. Southwest lounge is better and they dont even have one, so that tells you something. The food in UA and DL lounge is much better. AA is scrapping the 321T next year and reconfiguring them to standard 20F 176Y. Yea AA race to the bottom, they win!

I flew AA for the first time in May. The "econopoor" of AA is really crap! The food was the worst airplane food I'd ever experienced! The food must be good only in their "execurich"! On the flight back to GRU, for the first time in my life, I saw a plane landing with most of the FAs standing up and collecting trash! That was a bit scary for my taste! Thanks for sharing.

FAs do not stand during landing. It’s quite frankly impossible. During final descent and approach, yes-but not during landing. Educate yourself in aviation before making such ridiculous comments.
