Who's excited to see the Daily Wire's version of Snow White? I'am. Movies should just be entertainment and fun only. Look at both TOP GUN Maverick/Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 and The Equalizer 3 for example. Both are fantastic films and just focus on is entertainment and fun. Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington are both my favorite actors of all time. They beat 90% of todays actors. Denzel Washington is fantastic as always. Been acting since the 90s and Tom Cruise regardless of his weird behavior their's no denying that he is a fantastic actor and has been acting since the 80s.

From what I remember Disney justified that by saying it would be problematic to have little people being depicted as slobs who are only there to serve snow white's story. I guess they meant the fact the dwarves couldn't take care of their own house and the fact all their arcs revolve around snow white, which is a fine point to make but also seems like such an easy fix, just write the story so the dwarves can keep their own house and themselves clea without snow white having to tell them to do it and give them other interests and motivations that don't involve her, there's absolutely no need to give the roles to non-dwarf actors.

This was a movie very important to Walt Disney, even if she thinks it's outdated, at least she could have say it with more respect for what the movie accomplished in its time. Besides I don't see how a story about love, bravery, friendship is outdated. Those are still values needed today. There's a difference between takin a new "spin" for an established story, like "A Cinderella Story" or "Avatar" which is the character set on modern age or another world, there you can go and make changes because you're not keeping the same historical period/place just the core of the tale... but they insist to keep saying out loud "it's an improvement on the originals" as if they were replacing the cartoons, and man we all know none of the remakes is as iconic as it's cartoon version, much less equally recognizable, which takes me to my main question about it, WHY BOTHER AT ALL? For iconic characters like this, the looks play just as important of a role as the portrayal.
