Again I'm loving that highhat action. I know it's only a small piece, but nicely done.

Great job! This is deceptively hard to play. Even Neil had trouble playing it correctly, when they played it on the Clockwork Angels tour. I toiled on this one for months back in the day, and never got it 100% right. One thing you might want to revisit is the bass drum in the last chorus and outro. Neil plays very active in these parts, much more active than most of the tabs show. Keep em' comin' 😀

Even Neil’s subtle songs are complex and difficult and you nailed it Dude! Loved this.

Great job, I enjoyed watching u play one my fave deep Rush cuts. One little detail, on the second verse Neil does not repeat the staccato flam lick on snare and toms, he switches to a regular beat on the high hat. That's one of the cool things about Neil, he often switched up things about the beat on second and third verse to make it interesting and unpredictable.. RIP Professor, u will always be missed.

Woah! You're right... Man, I had to go find a live version to see what he was playing because on the recording it's hard to tell, now that I am listening for it I can hear the hat in there... For the many many years (since release) I had been listening to that song I had never noticed... That's crazy. Thanks for pointing it out, you have forever changed me... lol

Great job! Which VST/module are you using for the drum sounds?
@TheJezric3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Michael! ...not a VST, these are the Roland TDW-20 Expanded stock sounds. However I record the semi-discrete direct outputs (8), so I am adding compression, reverb and other mastering effects which improve the stock sounds a lot! ...I do typically use Addictive Drums 2 (VST) for my own music, or just record my acoustic kit depending on the song (and my mood :) )
