Made a LOT of changes this year. Carbon Fiber Roof, a couple more vents in the hood for aero, more electronic goodies like a second RaceCapture display, digital rearview camera, PiLink (Raspberry Pi running ECMLink for logging), electronic boost control, a lot of weight loss, and most importantly a Twin Scroll Borg Warner EFR 7670 turbo.
The overall time is slow primarily due to something not working quite right with the boost control. Data analysis afterwards showed me down 5-6psi pretty much across the board, and so I lost a lot of power and that's why you see the car fall flat on its face. For example I lose at least 7mph on the uphill Esses. Also it had been raining a lot that weekend prior to this finally dry session and lots of the rubber had been washed away on the track, lessening the traction. Lastly, I was only just finally getting the rear suspension tuned right here and with how rusty after barely driving once last year you can see I wasn't driving that well and left a lot out on the track.
Going to investigate the boost/power issues, and resolve that cracked coolant surge tank and look to be back on track in August!
