Mimir, in the god of war lore, is a fae from Celtic mythology and changed his name when he got to Midgard. He was a "jester" to a "king". It's actually an incredibly deep character arc and he seems to have a lot of potential in the future of the series

I could be wrong, but I think I heard of a different death for Mimir. He stopped to talk with some dwarves who were so impressed by his wisdom, they killed him and stuffed his dismembered body inside of a barrel of mead. When others came to find him, the dwarves lied and said that he spoke so much he literally choked on his words. They then sold the mead of wisdom to Odin, who didn't really bother asking where they got it from.
@Skybreaker29210 ай бұрын
That is not mimir. That is a being that was made of the spit of the vanir and asir, who would go to spread almost unlimited knowledge to others throughout the nine realms. Then the dwarves killed him and mixed his blood into honey to make mead. Also, a giant stole the mead from the dwarves and had his daughter to guard it. Later, Odin found out and slept with the giant's daughter 3 days in a row and tricked her into letting him have some of the mead. Instead of having a little bit, he stole all of it and placed it into three giant pots in asguard.

Since you did this, do you think you'll ever do one for Mimir's initial identity i.e. good ol Puck? This channel could use a bit of the old Midsummer.

From what I've heard of the origin stories the reason they killed mimir was because they found out the other guy was just basically a puppet that mimir controlled and when he was away hornier was a puppet on repeat.
