Hi buddy,what scan tool do you use? I’ve got the icarsoft vwas 3.0 and can’t get pump to prime

Hi I am using Topdon phoenix lite 2 If you can't bleed it with the tool make sure the filter is full of fuel before install, then try to prime with ignition or by applying 12v on the pump directly. Or just try to crank for a long time and it will start eventually

@@TheKeenMechanic thanks bud really appreciate your reply great video,whilst ignition off and trying my scan tool in engine module I pressed fuel pump test and the coil was flashing so panicked and unplugged device,turned ignition off and restarted car all good no flashing coil light,is it nothing for the glow plug/coil light to flash whilst plugged into test functions? Not the easiest scan tool to figure,yours made it look easy👍

@@TheKeenMechanic cranking it for long without a properly primed fuel system can damage your high pressure fuel pump. They are pretty sensitive anyway so it is not worth the risk

Have you moved your fuel filter into this location or it was originally there? It’s not located there on my seat exeo, it must be under engine…

This is the original location for any Diesel Exeo. If you have a Petrol Exeo it is most likely under the car
