I live in North Bay, & years ago on Halloween I went trick or treating at his house & he gave out candy, plus a developed picture of his house lol. I definitely still have that picture somewhere in my house. I wonder if he still does that!

I lived in NB for years (grew up there); nice to see buildings I worked in... I also lived just down the street on McPhail. I will say this... amazing that you didn't get people stopping you, asking you what you're doing, or even wanting your trespassed. More so that you walked around the mall with a camera without security bellyaching and kicking you out. I say this based on seeing a lot of US and Canadian videos of people just walking around and filming.

You would think the city would appreciate having such a tourist attraction. I visited a similar place on Canada's East Coast a few years back and loved it.

Yeah and obviously he's enough of an attraction that even Canadian Pickers visited him. He used that as a way to legitimize his mess to the city and he's not really wrong. It IS a tourist attraction, so really? The only thing I've ever really had an issue with, with him, was when he had Rabbits. For a year or so, he had Rabbits in a small confined area, with moldy bagels in there and people took pics and started a petition to get them taken away, because it was animal abuse/neglect. He was annoying his neighbours with them too, because they would escape and be running all over the neighbourhood. Another time, he had this goofy montrious chunk of foam, that he was going to carve Ellen Degeneras' face onto, so he could impress her and maybe get on her show, lol. Dude is crazy really, his wife is a mental health Nurse and she met him as a patient. lol. He can get nasty with people too, or be super nice, you never know with him. He ran for Mayor too one time. hehe. Showed up at city hall in prison strips as a joke, to pay his $200 to run for Mayor. It was a blatant poke at the city for treating him like a criminal. Gotta admit, that was pretty epic really. I voted for him just because I hated everyone else who was running. hehehe.
