Obviously quite late to this party, but I just got into bogu (well, back into it, but it's been a good fifteen years) at our last practice, and I'm starting to consider options for when I'm ready to buy my own set, and this is an extremely helpful overview.

I really love dear skin on bogu. Why do you need you need to place a custom order and wait for 10-16 weeks to get it? Would it possible to make in "stock bogu" with deer skin and aizome finish? Or is it economically irrelevant?

Yeo Mikki don’t worry too much about it - just use a loud voice when you shout, and try to hit ‘Men’ without fear. Don’t worry if you win or lose, it’s not important 😉
