Boarding schools for boys seem to have a profoundly great and lasting effect for boys becoming men. I encourage you to look at some of the counter arguments for a good boarding school. I grant that what you say is true and that is part of the trade off. I also know that good traditional boarding schools for boys are rare now. The visits these boys do have with their families end up being the most memorable holidays of a lifetime.

It depends on the school. Bvm in Syracuse,NY has a very holy pastor. It boards about 30 boys but also local children attend.and several vocations have come from that small school. The boys all serve mass and have exposure to good,solid priests. It is a sacrifice but worth it.

The choirmaster of a prominent church in my city, not in the USA, who has been doing that ministry for more than 30 years is a warlock. He alerted me to this by doing spell work on me and me eventually realising what had been going on. He is a narcissist and was trying to dominate me when i refused to submit to his control. I thought this show was eye-opening. I was happy to hear "to knock on wood" or "to touch wood" being related to Christianity. Coming from Ireland I have heard the Druid link but I have also heard the Holy Cross link and was happy to hear Charles affirming it as being a devotional act, for me it is almost prayer-like and it is something I have always done throughout my entire life (now in my mid-forties). I could go into great detail about the Autumn of 2019 and the early Winter months of 2020 but I will not. I sense something profound and especially deep touched Mr. Kennedy Hall, I see it in him. I too felt ("felt" seems the right word as opposed to sensed) something around that time. There have been times in my life I have felt something whatever that something might be but with the alleged pandemic I felt that the demons were literally in the air, I imagine this sounds slightly crazy even to real Catholics but it is the only way I can explain this time although I did not see a figure, shape nor shadow from what I can remember. I felt almost invincible at this time and very much protected (on reflection it was Our Lady and Her Son, Jesus Christ but I knew this to be true even then). I acted like nobody else I knew did for some reason, I resisted almost everything and purposely countered the petty yet insane directives from the powers that be. Looking back on this era of evil I do so with fondness, it is weird. Is this mysticism, I do not know for certain but there was a heightened sense of reality regarding the spiritual and supernatural. I have not really talked about this to anyone except my wife maybe only once because there is nobody out there that I know of that could listen and understand, I am surrounded by heathens, Gnostic types, atheists, those firmly entrenched in the world that blaspheme at the drop of a hat, something I have always tried to resist even as a lukewarm/nominal Catholic. There was a wood that I went to close by the mountains and the sea during this time, you could feel them all around but I was protected as was my wife who also felt the "something" in the wood at that time, when we go now, I do not feel their presence anywhere near as much but I felt ultimately God was with us both I think this is the real reason for my fondness of this time. Even though for me these demons were in the sky and in the wood, God was ensuring our safety and afterwards well naturally our Faith has been elevated so much more. Interesting show, it was an extremely interesting time. My Catholic Faith was almost instinctive back then, I am no theologian now, back then I was definitely not as knowledgeable as I am now about Catholicism. Once again GREAT SHOW!

I think Kennedy the movie you happen to mention, is called the return of Martin Guerre, the actor who plays Martin is Gerard Depardieu. I found it a fascinating movie. Another one I saw that’s based on witchcraft is based on a true story from the Middle Ages, called the monk and the sorceress both are based on actual historical incidence. The saying 'knock on wood' is NOT christian. As Christiana we don't knock on the wood of the crucifix, we venerate crucifix. The crucifix is not a crystal ball. The saying ',knock on wood' derives from the pagan belief that malevolent spirits inhabited wood, and that if you expressed a hope for the future you should touch, or knock on, wood to prevent the spirits from hearing and presumably preventing your hopes from coming true.

Just about everything occult or magical in nature within the last 100 years is heavily shaped by one man, Aleister Crowley. Organizations like Blavatsky's Theosophical Society and masonic/masonic-adjacent groups like the O.T.O. were also very influential. Wicca was invented by Gerald Gardner, a follower of Crowley,and the influence shows. Back in the 70s, people got on the dumb theory that bands like Led Zeppelin put satanic messages into their music that could only be heard by playing the song backwards. thanks for the content, kennedy. It's a theory of mine, but it seems that in the last couple of years, there has been less talk about feminism and more of witchcraft. There seems to be a strong feminist to witchcraft pipeline, and it's not hard to understand why that's the case. I was in a book store here in the midwest USA, it sucked to see, but not only do they have a huge section on wicca/witchcraft, but the section was AS BIG as the section on christianity.

I knew that my son needed to go live in the dorm of a university after he graduated from high school with all of the other young men. I knew that he needed to get away from only being with his mother and sister to live in the dorm, play sports, study, socialize and live with young men instead of just me and his sister. I intuitively knew that so I pushed that instead of him attending a university here at home. It was the best thing I could have done. But, he had already graduated from high school and was 18 years old. Also, the dynamic of the household had not included a male role model for him. As far as younger boys, I am afraid that I have read and heard too many strange and awful things that have happened in all boys boarding schools.

I just finished Charles' 1st book. It is excellently written, easy and a joy to read. I am going to read the next one. The thing that puzzles me is the heart of being Catholic is our fight with the spirits of darkness, yet you only hear mush from the pulpet. We on earth are the church milliant not the church bake sale. It is really agrivating for me. I hate the pansy approach of "I dont want to offend anyone" attitute that is prevalent in the catholic church. Like Mother Angelica used to say, do you want to be nice to someone and let them go to hell, or offend someone and maybe wake them up, so they can repent and maybe be saved. Its a lack of belief in the real presence of God in the Eucharist, , and this "everyone is going to heaven" crap from the demonic secular world. Most of my catholic family members are not going to be saved because of the above lie. They think they dont have to do anything and can go to heaven. They wont listen to me and just shut me up. So I dont see some of them anymore. What can you do but just pray for them.

Again, I am a traditional Catholic who attends the FSSPX in Italy. I am a revert. What called me back to my faith are -ironically- two things the FSSPX doesn’t like: Our Lady of Medugorje (especially the 5 stones and the messages) and the Divine Mercy devotion. Some of the later apparitions could very well be satanic counterfeits that deceive people, but it doesn’t reduce the flow of grace to people through that sanctuary and it doesn’t poison the fruits. In fact, the good fruits in my conversion are but a drop in the ocean of conversions and vocations received at or through Our Lady of Medugorje. Also, the first 6 apparitions were declared authentic back in (I believe it was) 2017. As far as making money off visitors is concerned, it’s NO DIFFERENT from Lourdes, Fatima and other European shrines, sanctuaries and religious sites. Even the holy family, on their yearly trip to Jerusalem for the religious feast, probably spent on food, shelter and objects of sacrifice etc. there, even if mere necessities, which means simple city dwellers made money on the occasion of people visiting the temple and for religious pilgrimages and stays.

Yes, do understand the actual origins of the expressions we use commonly. First of all, one must INTEND the sin for it to be a sin. Using something from common usage does not constitute an occult use. "In the cards" is actually a gambling reference, not necessarily about Tarot. 2. As long as we use a sacramental with the general intention of using it properly, then it is an act of religion and meritorious. We need not make a specific intention each time we use/touch a sacramental. 3. There is the story of Our Lady obtaining the spell by which the devil had obtained dominance over a soul. Soo this was an actual spell which obviously had power that was overcome by Our Lady.

Serious warning over boarding schools, and even home schooling situations that can all have a massive impact on children and their innocence vs the real world. Take this very seriously it's no joke and I would rather warn others for the sake of their children and the dangers here. 1 Many of those schools do have abuse going on, you can all take a guess of the kind I mean as do many poorer countries where "priests" get sent to prey on children. Even so called traditional ones. Often contrary to what parents or teachers might think many of those kids also expose other kids going to those schools in private things you don't want them to because of the strict nature of these and how children naturally rebel. 2 Be very cautious how you handle teaching children and warning them against media and other things. It may be true the intentions of parents are honest but this can often have the worst opposite effect you want. Try not to enforce or control a child in this way because 9/10 times the only thing you will end up doing is pushing them to do exactly what you do not want them to do. It would be far better to teach them in ways "well yea you can do this and that even though it's stupid and garbage, and you will probably end up miserable or destroying your life so if that's what you want hey go right ahead" most kids who are NOT as stupid as you might think will think about that and come to reason yea mom n dad are right. When you destroy things they own, when you threaten and limit every single thing in their life...you are mostly going to get a kid doing every one of those things in private because you are essentially pushing them towards that with that kind of behavior. 3 As much as it sucks to hear, you have to realize the world we live in now and the nature of the internet and kids they WILL be exposed to many of these things, unless you want to be guilty of C Abuse locking them up till they hit being an adult in which case they are just going to find out on their own and most likely jump right in because it will be the only taste of "freedom" they know even if it is truly evil because that is how our society and media work. I went to a catholic school, I was raised in a traditional catholic view before V2 and I can tell you I met nothing but impure modernist catholic school girls who all slept around and the majority of the guys were all into drugs music you don't want your kids to listen to and hiding this from teachers and their parents. Today it is even worse with what is out there in the media.

My mother is a witch and when she gets sick she puts that sickness on other people including people in her family she doesn't like. She is always trying to put sickness on me because she has always despised me. I don't know how this works but I have watched her do this all my life. I have even seen people die and literally over night she is completely well. Could it be coincidence? I guess so but it is very strange to say the least. I am 57 and she is 76 and she still does this to this day.

She literally speaks something negative, I call it cursing someone, and she says it three times then within days sometimes a week or so it literally happens. I am a Christian so I am always engaged in spiritual warfare where she is concerned but it does kind of scare me sometimes. When her father passed away he was a 32 degree mason she was active in the Rainbow Girls and her mother as in the Order of Eastern Star. I believe all of that is tied to the demonic.
