I've had this rifle for about 9 months now (.177) I've been very happy with it. VERY consistent groups. Gamo scope is really steady. Choice of pellet makes the biggest difference, I find.

I bought this gun in July. LOVE the gun. Quick follow up shots, accuracy seems to be improving, need to try multi pellet mfg's. Plastic feels good, not a cheap plastic. Stippling is comfortable and provides good grip. Things I don't like: 1. No chamber loaded or cocked indicator. Only find out when you EASILY break barrel. 2. No sling mounts. 3. The safety location. 4. Scope caps cannot be used with scope mounted. Pin on bottom of scope mount lines up with hole on scope base, no adjustment.

The scope rail is probably a variant of BSA's Maxi grip scope rail. Would be even more accurate if you rested the rifle on your hand. I think this one has a future !

Lots of info strongly recommends it be cleaned before 1st shot. Cleaning suggestions: 1. Use a basic straw to guide something through the silencer and crown. 2. Use a shop vac to suck twine from breech out end of barrel. 3. I cut my 7mm Mag patches in half to clean 0.22LR, 0.223, and now 0.177. 4. The barrel is rifled and left dirty by the factory. You must first clean it.

Its. 2020.... And im still impressed by this gun... I love it,its my go to over some of my high dollar PCP rifles... I like it so much i even filled the stock with a bug out survival kit.. Tin of crosman 14.3 hollowpoint,a fishing kit,knife,paracord,flint and striker,and some 1st aid necessities...yeah... It's a bit butt heavy now,but got use to it fairly quick... Hey did you clean the barrel before you do your testing, mine shot like crap until I cleaned the barrel and got all the crap out of it then shot at a consistent 865 fps, One other thing it can take out Rabbits I took down 2 Jack Rabbits at 28 yards

I bought this rifle two days ago in the .177 cal. I bought 6 different types of pallets and grains. 4 different people including me could not get this gun to shoot consistent at 20,30,40,50 ft. we are all active hunters and we couldn't get it to shoot less then a popcan size circle. I bought a beeman rifle and I had it sited in with 6 shots. I could shoot dime size circles at 45ft. I'm very dissapointed in the gamo.

Trenton Deel hello my dear, , i don’t know this i can help, make sure your scope is tight, ok then put about 2 or 3 drop of gun oil in barrel right at you put the pellet... let oil run down for few minutes, then ok to shoot... my ok for 2o yards... hit a quarter, 15 yards hit a dime .... for sure. my is Gamo Whisper.... 25 yards hit a box of cigarette,,,, i did hit a squirrel last week about 28 yards... so guy... hope it help.... i’m not sure more then 30 yards air gun can do any accurate...lol....i do not expect air gun do that far .... good luck buddy and have fun... oh try heavy pellets, .9 or .10 gr

Gamo rifles always need to have a lot of pellets fired through the barrel before they become accurate, sometimes it takes between 200-500 shoots. Hope this helps.

Hello mate. As i have seen in other video clip. Out off box you must do in barrel cleaning first then can get it accurate. Some got pellets stuck due to not doing the cleaning, maybe the protect oil got thick and dry up. They put some oil to protect inner barrel.. My 2 cent opinion. Sorry if im wrong.

It depends on how you measure accuracy, you may never be able to get "dime sized" groups at 40 but you should be able to hit the bottom of a soda can with all 10 shots all day long. That should give you "heart & lung " shoots on what you are aiming at. One shot, one kill.

40yds is about its useful limit. Need best pellets and little wind for 40yds. I would say the 0.22 is ~30yd rifle and the 0.177 is a ~20yd rifle. After that you start counting your misses.

These are pellet guns. There are no such things as pellet gun emergencies. If the scope breaks, buy another scope. The varmints will still be there when it arrives. I think you missed the point. Also, unless you have no spacial intelligence, you can aim well enough to hunt without fixed sights. How do you think old guns, bows, and blow guns work?

Gamo tests with lighter alloy pellets. Can usually subtract 200 fps off their numbers if you are going to use lead pellets

I have the same rifle in . 22 changing the second stage screw and the trigger will be less than half pound ... rick MacGyver 305 on KZbin proof that the rifle is definitely not the problem ... I tinker with everything I have ... I'm not a hunter like most people are but it doesn't takes a genius too learn fast and shoot accurately with lots of practice 😁... gamo swarm is totally awesome and accurate with the trigger modification and the hold ... haven't hit my thousand pellets yet but almost there .

Ok here is my question why cant someone or a company put out a air rifle in .177 or .22 cal that has the ability to reach speeds of 1700 fps GUARANTEED or faster like up to lets say 2100 fps maybe 2200. And so on and such with other calibers. I know i know two reasons, or atleast the ones i feel are a issue. Having a stable enough pressurized tank or canister and inner rifle mechanics system, or the fact that the gas like or air being used is not lets say light enough. Then i start thinkin helium filled. And i know the rifle being used is a break barrel and with those and pumps action by hand. Using lighter gases and types of air mixtures dont really work like that with breaks and hand pumps. So when does someone make a .177 or .22 cal at 1700 fps up to 2100 or 2200 fps. I have been tryin to tell people i belive their is much more room for improvement in the air rifle industry. Heck if we can get rockets to behave the way they do we can get a damn pellet that size to go all SR-71 BLACKBIRD mode. Great video i like very nice. And I feel like at this point teelin ya to keep it up and keep them comin is very redundant. So i leave with this stay groovy stay loaded have fun be ready and stay safe.

Notice the absolutely FLIMSY magazine mount piece, and how when he tries to put it in the second time he holds it with his hand to steady it, to cover up how flimsy it is. I've always heard that Gamo rifles were junk. After seeing this, they're the last brand I'd buy.

The clip can be as loose as it wants. It only holds the pellets until one is loaded into the breach. I've had no problems with accuracy. But, I know how to shoot, so...
