after watching the entire vid i just realized how talented this guy really is the fact that his game is so raw and unpolished and he's still an all star that's how much potential he's got

ya when it comes to scoring i feel like melo is back to the age where he was the shortest ball brother and that's why he's so used to taking floater instead of making contact first as the attacker. i think he also doubts the strength of his ankles against stronger defenders. he need to work on unorthodox finishes that the defense is not ready for if he's not going to get stronger

He scored 92 points in high school, he has a different perspective of this game on and off the court, he sees weaknesses others don’t he’s confident, and put his reps in. The more he commits time into this game the better he’ll become

Lamelo chooses the runner because it actually takes a lot less effort and a lot lesss energy remember lemelo ball was always a under the rim player most of his life he has always does that shot that isn’t something new if you’re familiar with him that’s why he’s able to finish at the rim crafty to he grew into his height very well he has potential to be top 3 if not the best one day I think so, also you mention strength I don’t think that has anything to do with it basketball is more of a mental game

Not gonna lie, Melo and Haliburton have pretty similar games. Really entertaining players!
@kairo5146
@kairo5146 Жыл бұрын
not the same at all in my opinion. Tyrese is a conservative passer and defender, he plays really safe while LaMelo like to take risky gambles which translate to entertainment. I like Tyrese but LaMelo is Showtime 2.0 IMO, he is solely bringing Puma basketball shoes on the map and even bringing international fans to root for the Hornets.

@shazazy4137

@@kairo5146 Idk man, Tyrese is not a conservative defender at all. His game is like CP3 but with no defense. Even if you watch the game, he lacks on-ball defence, ball watching and his help defense is trash compared to other NBA players. His defensive stats also back up my claim that he ranks lower than Lamelo and one of the lowest in the NBA at around 500+ something.

I would disagree with strength being his weakness, I think it's more of decision making issues when in the paint/driving. Trae Young is like 160lbs and he gets buckets in the lane, definitely not a strength thing
@thekidshere6955
@thekidshere6955 Жыл бұрын
I respectfully Disagree Trae Young at the Rim shot under 50% last year, and with the Physical Tools that Melo has he could be much more efficient around the basket, and I think allot of it comes down to him avoiding contact

He needs to just work on being able to finish and thats it and add more with his bag he has no euro or hop and hes overrated because of this he has a bag no doubt but its so predictable but the way he can move and use screens eith those moves it makes it difficult he bsssicslly just does a hezi a tween or a crossover step back tween something like that he does basic moves but he over dramatically does them to sell a lot of things easier
