The best part of this is that you really can't tell if Owen's character has made it as a successful actor. For all anyone knows half of Hollywood is as lonely as he is shown to be here. Christmas is quiet in Los Angeles. No snow so there is no push to be inside with your family. I spent my Christmases at the beach or at the movies. Successful millionaires with kids or not, loneliness is loneliness. And the hot chocolate really exemplifies what it's about when you're lonely... the little things, the cute comforts. This video captured it all so beautifully.
