@@kenthartig7065 My thoughts also. Imagine losing a match, then hopping onto Twitch to find out that one of your favorite players to watch was the one that knocked you out. Then proceed to get kicked and reported by that streamer because you interacted in his chat. Pretty low.

Yeah I was a bit surprised with the report. Seemed an obvious likelihood to me that the player hopped off the game and onto the stream to watch the rest of his game unfold from there.

The best proof for how bonuses don't matter in prog is when blue took Africa he'd already held SA and Aus multiple turns and had the SAME troop count as pete. Then the bot rolled him, lol

Correct, bonuses barely matter at all for this map and game mode, cards are basically everything Sometimes if you cap in North Africa you’ll just happen to end up holding Africa, which is a small plus of course, but you won’t make any effort to hold it if you’re smart If they break you, that’s just more cards for you 😂🤷🏼‍♂️ I think a lot of people just don’t understand the math on how drastically more powerful the cards become, than any bonuses

I love watching the videos and have for months, maybe I should comment more but haven't until now. I'd like to ask if it was truly deserved to report Ajax? If, and this is a stretch of optimism, you take him at his word, there appears to be no wrong doing. He said he joined Pete's stream after losing the game and his wording implies he was suprised that they were in his game. Optimism again, that wouldn't have been streamsniping. He was then flamed for providing advice when mentioning the %, however, in context it appears he was relaying the math of Pete's earlier question about Red's cap roll of 175 vs 110. That wouldn't be advice, just a mathematical proof to a question asked. Now, don't misunderstand. I think Pete's a great player and overall great human being. Also, I don’t agree with Pete 100% of the time, nor should I! That being said, this move I strongly disagree with because a Master level player may have/have had his account banned for purely honest actions. There's almost no proof he legitimately streamsniped and cheated, and taking him at his words would show him to be simply a fan who was integrous enough to keep Twitch closed while playing ranked. Isn't it worth the benefit of the doubt to believe what Ajax said with no way to know otherwise?

So three things I can say to answer your questions: 1: We currently have a terrible and toxic reporting system where players are encouraged to tattle tale on other players. Given that I always over-report. However, we should not have this. We should have a system that automatically protects us from collaboration. 2: If a person is willing to cheat, they're willing to lie so taking people at their word in that context isn't actually possible. 3. Ajax did reach out to me after the fact to say he wasn't sniping and I do take him at his word.

The collab rules are if you can communicate with other players in the game you're cheating. The rules don't actually care whether you do, just that you can.

1. Bonuses don't matter at all in prog, especially not a +2. 2. Kill guard on everyone behind the cap. 3. Guaranteed cards behind the cap if the others decide to card block Pete's cap, with the potential for unlimited cards if the bot lives back there. Taking a small bonus/pocket is almost never worth it it prog. Maybe if it's uncontested and if you can snag it super early.

@@gutenbird Basically he was watching the stream pete was having, while also playing in the exact same game, commonly called streamsniping. In that way he can get information he should not have, for example if pete has a set ready, or what he is planning to do. Now imagine this happening during a fog game so he even would know the exact position and troop count pete would have.

I could easily see myself in his/her situation having played an honest game and not stream sniping and when the game is over pop up in the chat. That does not mean they sniped all game. it is more of a "don't type in chat till the game is done" issue too. But really, Pete looks for random lobbies, trying to play fair games. If the person knew they were playing Pete, they were cheating. Now let's say you play a game, get eliminated and see Pete is streaming. You can absolutely check it out.
