Absolutely phenomenal informational video. I have saved this one to watch again and again for when I prepare to get stingrays in the future. Thank you to you both for sharing all the information!

at 9:30 was the camera intentionally left at that angle with stingray? you were talking about an albino stingray but all i saw was a stingray against the glass. the format for this video was kind of weird so i wasn't sure if it was youtube glitching or just how the video was recorded with a lot of voice over.

I'm actually kinda surprised he didn't mention a good temp for breeding, maybe he just forgot because he keeps his facility at a constant temperature. In my experience as well as many other ray keepers I know, even some breeders in Europe, the warmer the water is, the more likely they are to breed. I've found that they won't really do much breeding below 77F°
@djdeertz54507 жыл бұрын
chris day it showed his heaters set to 81.5°F

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't heard any discussion on proper housing size? I know they're not to big as pups, but it looks like they can get quite large as adults. I heard the owner say he has a 600 gallon tank for one female and a tank mate. That's a huge tank. Haha.

ryan moeller personally I think the smallest tank size to keep a pair of freshwater stingrays is 300 gallons.
