Starting to build my gallery this week! Im setting up my second fish tank this week (The first one is a betta tank, and the second one will be a shrimp tank. I know, not impressive at all, but you got to start with the beginner stuff so you don’t mess up). And the livestock of my first DIY terrarium (Springtails, which are small enough insects to thrive on my small terrarium and can be fed to my betta too) are arriving this week too. We all got to start our fish room somewhere, and this week ill stop being just a one-fish-owner, to a aqua-terrarium gallery owner. Im really psyched! And the best part of all of this is that all of these new things only costed me around 200 reais (the Brazilian currency) or 40 dollars. I know that you don’t have the time to read and answer all the comments of your videos joey, but if you could... you know, acknowledge my comment, i would be really glad. Cause im pretty proud of what im starting this week, and I value your opinion, as i value your videos: A lot!

That tank is stunning. To me, there's two approaches: the articstic one and the natural one. Your tank is beautiful and natural. Sure, a spotless glass bottom and artfully done rock work looks nice too. Just doesn't look real to me. It's more of a 'display item' as opposed to fish keeping to me. At the other end of the spectrum from your beautiful tank are those FREAKISHLY deep-blue/UV colored tanks full of corals that are the equivelant to glo fish. Those tanks only look 'nice' using a filter on a camera, and then they just look like a 1970s era 'black light room'. I know. I was there. I'm a boomer. lol. I want a salt water tank in my living room. Not an intense blue glowing blob that looks like an exposed nuclear ractor core. Thanks Joey. Remember: no BRS BS allowed please

you should get a Zebra Moray. They're fierce looking, calm, and they don't eat fish. Their diet is mostly crustaceans, like shrimp. It will look perfect in the 370, or the 120 with the puffer

I ran mine the same way I ran my freshwater tank as well. It worked GREAT until I started getting coral. Then it changed quite a bit and then I had to start testing the water parameters. But those sponge bricks are FREAKING AMAZING! I honestly forget what brand they are because I've been using them and haven't replaced them EVER. What I would recommend instead of sucking water out of the actual tank I would suck it out of the sump system. That is what I did. I had everything automatic with dosage pumps. Once a week it would suck out x-amount of water and put it into my waste jug and then once that pump sector was done the new water pump would automatically kick in. I did it during the week so that I would be home and as soon as it was done I would test the water parameters and 99% of the time it was spot on. Sometimes I had to add calcium or some other stuff which I had on dosing pumps as well I would just hit a button on the pump and it would dose. I really miss my saltwater tank and I wish I could have another one. Maybe someday when I have a place of my own...

They don’t make the best pets. Pretty much every species besides the giant pacific octopus lives less than a year. They are extremely shy and hard to observe, as well as extremely good escape artists. You rarely know what age you’ll be receiving and it’s common for people to get a full grown octopus that dies of old age after 2-3 months. Like the other person said, a species only tank is necessary.
