I just had an epiphany idea for water balloon/ squirt gun wars. Have two or more armies where each person wears a target front and back. The target is comprised of a drawn large ring with a solid painted water color center center (Blood Red of course) a person is "killed" and forced from the battlefield if either target gets wet enough for the red water color to run past the drawn ring....last army with at least one man standing wins....anythin goes to "kill" squirt gun, heavy artillery, or hand launched ballon grenades....I LIKE IT!! Could have" pill boxes" and overlapping fields of fire, secret ammunition dumps, supply lines, manufacturing infrastructure (making more ammo) and even be allowed "spies" who are subject to firing squad if caught. I envision a yearly ALL DAY affair with lots of folks...or smaller less thought out battles too but I like the more grandiose version personally

Beautifully made, but you do have to be careful with this. When you pull back to launch the water balloon, especially with a strong pull, there is a risk that the PVC can break near or on a fitting, especially as the PVC ages, it tends to become brittle. I learned this myself years ago working on another project. Absolutely wear safety goggles. If it did snap, you can get wacked in the face by the PVC section that broke off. I like the idea so much, that I will be making an aluminum version of this. One piece of bent tubular aluminum, with rubber end caps, padded handles, and with brazed in sections. I'll stitch up a nice leather section for the balloons.

we made it wih my brother! it's awesome! But we ad a shield! we fixed 4 smal part of pipe to the outsiade of the arm. in fixed a lid of toilet :D So we can shoot on shoot on him more safty. And you can shoot with the ninja balls too

Chevy Chase had a late night show (it only lasted three weeks). On opening night, he started the show on the roof (12-15 stories up); the crew had built an incredible balloon launcher out of surgical tubing tied to a large plastic funnel. The tubing were two loops that were about 6' each, so it had a 12' span; two crew members held the end of the loops.
