the level of empathy this man has for the women in his life, and woman in general, is honestly so moving. the part about him leaving the choice of having children to his partner, the sole person who will directly be physically and mentally impacted by labor & childbirth, is so refreshing. a surprising number of men view women as baby-making beings and are willing to settle for someone so long as they fit their own desire to have children, a woman who fits the narrative of their future and their wants, regardless of her wants or needs. he is able to love a women and see their worth beyond what they can supply him. he understands that to have the woman he loves is a privilege and he would never compromise that trust by demanding something from her that may harm her, for his own benefit, to meet his expectations and demands. on a humanistic aspect, his ability to love it so whole and so limitless. i really hope he finds someone who loves him just as purposefully and genuinely.

I'm sorry, I know this post is well meaning but I felt there were a lot of presuppositions being made here that I don't agree with. If Jackson says, not wanting children is a deal breaker for him, what is wrong with that? Seriously. Nothing about saying I want a partner that I can have a family with, has anything to do with seeing that partner as an object only meant to fulfill ones wishes. Or even seeing them as a "baby making machine". While I appreciate Jackson for being considerate of the pain women go through during child birth, it is NOT wise to leave all family planning decisions to his wife/partner. Because right now he says he's ok with not having children. But who's to say he won't think differently 10,20, 30 or even 50 years down the road? When he's 80 years old and has no grandchildren to tell stories to? If his wife dies before him, and he's got no family to visit or mourn with him? What if he experiences regret, and the regret turns into resentment for his partner? Even as a woman myself who doesn't want children , I would NEVER want to be with someone who does. Even if they expressed that they're fine being childless, I would never want to be the one that is purposefully standing between him and what could be the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of his life. I feel that it would be selfish of ME to expect him to sacrifice that , when he could easily be with someone willing to provide that to him and wants to start a family with him.

@@KittcattyI agree with you on that, but I think what Jackson was trying to say is that having children (or not having them) is not the "end all be all" factor he looks for in a wife. Obviously, I do see him looking for someone who shares the same goals and dreams in a married life, but he wants to tell these two folks that it isn't something he will *demand* his wife to go through. I pray this doesn't happen to his future wife but what if she isn't actually able to get pregnant? Or that her body isn't physically capable of carrying a child in a healthy way? I think this is what he's trying to say. That he won't enforce this rule on her with an iron fist. That there's a lot of legroom for them to discuss this. 😊

I feel like Jackson simply wants to meet the person whose soul vibrates on the same frequency as his own, the one that he can organically connect to on a deeper level, and that's something you just feel when you meet someone. Not forced, not planned, just pure vibe. That may be why it's difficult to answer questions about a "type", because he's looking for something that goes beyond that sort of explanation. I'm looking for the right vibes too, so I understand where he's coming from. Jackson, I hope you're able to find the connection you're searching for with the person that is meant to be your other half 🖤and thank you for being so authentically yourself.

The most impactful part of this conversation for me was when Jackson explained his meaning when he tells someone he wants the color red. Not pinky red or reddish pink, but RED. I once had a "friend" who told me that she wanted to end our friendship because I was such a "pushover". Her exact words were the following, "You work yourself like a dog to give people exactly what they ask of you, but are too willing to accept when people give you less than you asked for. That's why you're always feeling that no one understands you. It's because you're too willing to accept the crap people are willing to give you because you don't understand yourself. And until you stop this, I don't want to be your friend." My friend's words cut me like a knife. I ended our friendship because I thought she was insulting me. But then I took a step back and really thought deeply about the message sent. I was devaluing myself by accepting less than I wanted in my life. I was accepting laziness from others that I wouldn't ever think of giving to someone else. I was being untrue to myself and diminishing my dreams and desires. I needed to stop that way of living if I had any chance of loving myself and truly loving others. So, I understand when Jackson says he wants red he means it. Don't give him something else. I would just like to ask Jackson to be open to someone saying, "I dislike the color red for you and I don't think you're going to like it either once you have it, but I'll do everything in my power to give red to you because you asked for it." Those are the people who are willing to sacrifice and put in the effort to help us make better decisions while remaining true to themselves. These people are honest, trustworthy, and have a great deal of integrity. We also need those people in our lives. We shouldn't push them away. Much love to you guys! Women have been giving birth for thousands of years is a fact. It is a generalization in regards to the "pain, instability and trauma" that one might or might not face associated with pregnancy and birth. Not every woman suffers pain and trauma from being pregnant and giving birth. Some women have a difficult time of it, yet some women also have relatively easy pregnancies and birthing processes. It runs the gamut for each and every woman depending on who they are since every woman's pregnancy and birthing experience is different, which they will not know till they themselves are pregnant and giving birth. Some women actually even enjoy being pregnant and having children. Some women want a big family, some a couple kids and some not at all. Some want to adopt to have children even if they can't or don't wish to be pregnant. Some women have a high pain tolerance. I personally opted for the epidural. My lower half was numb which was cool with me and in the end I had a wonderful gift from God in the form of my son. As admirable as it is for Jackson to say he is concerned for his future partners level of comfort in having a child, if he wants to be a dad and have a family as he has expressed before, then it is still a discussion that needs to be had with a prospective future partner so they are on the same page with the same goals for their lives. Whether a couple has kids or not is not a unilateral decision. Anthony and Ben were looking out for their friend with their remarks about that, not wanting to see him settle for less than he wants out of life by leaving the decision solely up to the woman vs finding a woman who wants to have a child(ren) willingly. Some women have the same discussion with the guys they go on a date with to make sure their goals are the same vs as they see it "wasting their time" with a person that doesn't want the same things they do for their future. Nothing wrong with that.

An interesting podcast. The fact that Jackson is respectful of a woman's ideas even though it may be contrary to what they think. It's a sign of acceptance of others no matter what. I think that's beautiful. Not giving birth is understandable, but there are other ways. Adopting a child who didn't ask to be on this Earth and giving him or her a better life, I find that even more beautiful. That's my opinion.

True enough, yet having a child or children is not a unilateral decision. It is a discussion Jackson and his future perspective partner or any couple would need to have before entering into a life long commitment with someone. Even if a woman can't or doesn't want to be pregnant, if she still wanted children and have a family then they could adopt. Yet without the conversation taking place early on in the couple's relationship to see if they are on the same page and want the same things in their lives they could be settling for a life they find to be less fulfilling than they want. Not every woman's pregnancy and birthing experience is the same. Not every woman's pregnancy and birthing experience is riddled with pain and risks. Each woman's experience is unique, yet the woman won't know till the time comes when the woman is pregnant.

Anyway, what a great conversation :) Also, on the kids/giving birth conversation, just wanted to point out that there are still ways to have kids and a family if both partners really want but just can't. It's not just about the pain the woman might go through but also the reality that you can't control if you're going to be able to have biological children like Anthony pointed out. Of course everyone is entitled in not wanting to compromise and find someone who can have/wants children but I personally find it heartwarming whenever I hear someone say "it will be what it will be, if I find the right partner for me, maybe we'll have children or maybe we'll just have tons of dogs, but I'm letting life decide "

You deserve that. They deserve you. No relationship is perfect, but I truly believe that you do need at least one person to just listen and try understand where you are coming from. I really just wanted to take the time to appreciate how much you have done. Not only for us fans, but as an artist. You have truly changed the game and inspired us artist as well. Thank you for your advice, thank you for just being you. Thank you as well for feeling like that friend we can just sit and listen to all day. These days can be very lonely, but please know you’re not alone. I really want you to be happy no matter what path you may choose in life. If you’re happy I’m happy. I really hate to see you like this. It does hurt when you can’t change situations that aren’t your own, but I can give some advice. I think the most important thing is to focus on you. Forget any one other than Jackson when it comes to what’s best for you and your recovery of your happiness and overall health. I know you started the recovery process this year and I’m so proud of you! You inspire us to do the same. Your feelings come first. Take control of your life! Prioritize you because in the end it’s you who looks in the mirror. It’s you who deserve the best things in life. Please take some time for yourself to reevaluate your relationships in life. Where do you want them placed? Where do they belong or do they even belong in your story? Those are questions that have answers. It can hurt to lose connections with some people who we thought were something they aren’t, but if it’s doing more harm than good (or not beneficial at all) then they can be loved from afar. You have been very busy as well. I know it’s pretty hard to do anything but focus on commitments and work right now, but sometimes we just need time to play too. Take some time to recognize your strengths and successes. But please don’t lock yourself away again. Just take some time to enjoy the little things. Like…the blue sky and a soft breeze on a hot summer day. Your favorite song. Something. Anything! Something that makes you smile. Something that makes you feel good. Those are important too, because you have worked really hard on it. Recognize it. You made a lot of good points that made me rethink my own thoughts (and sorry I wrote so much, I had a lot of them at once haha). All I have to say is this: all your questions have answers to them you just need time to figure them out. You have time don’t feel pressured or hold yourself to a scheduled timeline. We’re not perfect, but that’s what makes us beautiful. You deserve true happiness that is 100% yours. I believe in you and I love you sooooo very much! :)💜

Jackson packaged his words about a potential life partner brilliantly, making everyone who heard it, especially women, feel valued and respected whoever it was, and included several aspects of in-depth requirements about his a potential life partner. It seems simple, there is no special type for her and everyone can have a chance to become his partner, but in fact the requirements are very complete. It's not easy to find a real life partner, everything will not be connected if there is no vibration, while the vibration itself is still a mystery that cannot be predicted when it will occur. Jackson is indeed the type of man nowadays/modern, understanding and respecting women, practical, wants a partner who makes him feel comfortable and can provide motivation and inspiration as well as quality time. Humble and loving Jackson. Very dense and deep daily conversations about everything that boils down to life. Thank you Kinjaz, for brought out the magical Jackson.

Jackson is a very real person. His mother Sophia's social account records a lot of Jackson's growth experience. He has been a sweetheart since he was a child. Wherever he goes, he will bring gifts back to his mother, respect and protect his family. Similarly, he will put his partner in a very important positio ,But at the same time, Jackson is very enthusiastic and pure in terms of emotions. If he meets a bad girl, I don't think he has the ability to recognize, because he always believes in and respects everyone. I think the psychological problems he describes are largely because the bad girl brought him, hoping that he can meet someone who is really worth it.
@yuni-line8815 Жыл бұрын
Why do you think she's a bad girl, what if the fool is Jackson who is so obsessed with her, with marrying and having children WITH her, but she doesn't want that, what if she tells him what she expects and was going to give from the beginning but jackson did not listen or believe that he could change her, perhaps from a polygamous relationship to a monogamous one

Not to repeat everything a lot of other people here are saying regarding Jacksons relationship/future children talk, but I have a few things I feel pretty impowered to speak on regarding that too. I am a 23 year old woman, and I have had a baby. Childbirth goes so much more beyond just the pain aspect. There is a lot of physical and mental changes that happen with pregnancy and childbirth, and even after postpartum. It is actually really risky, and I think we as people neglect to realize just how risky childbirth is for humans. For example, when i was pregnant I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness that only pregnant women get at a certain point in their pregnancy. A lot of women who have had this illness, its called Pre-eclampsia btw for anyone wondering, sometimes they dont make it and sometimes the baby passes aswell. I was lucky to have survived with my child, but I was still sick even after birth and I was at risk for heart failure for the longest time because of pregnancy and what it had done to my body. So I guess I just find it admirable of Jackson to leave it up to his future woman to make that decision for their life, and really for hers you know? That's a thing you dont really see alot of men do nowadays and I think it's a nice refreshing thing to see. Because pregnancy and what not, it can be a really big and dangerous deal. I think he definitely has the right idea about it

Jackson is a gifted, beautiful, remarkable man. I’m sure he doesn’t feel that at all but everyone outside of him thinks this about him. He just can’t see or believe what others see in him which is sad. I know there are people in his life that love him and I’m sure there are plenty who hang around because of his celebrity factor and popularity. Those kind will drop off as soon as he isn’t center stage anymore. I pray he has a solid core of true friends who will fight for him and not let him drown in alcohol and depression. It would be an epic tragedy to lose this beautiful soul from the world.

@patricew.4010 I'm with you. They're good enough friends, Jackson would probably say something if he was actually offended. And I never see people come to defend Anthony when Jackson is digging into him either. Like on the tattoo live stream when he was calling Anthony's skin trash 😂 I've been an aghase since 2014, I love all the boys from Got7 because I could see that they were more talented than what was being put out, and their personalities were so refreshing for kpop, it really felt criminal how little love they got. But I can also admit, some of the earlier music from them as a group, and from Jackson's solo career as well, was not the best quality. Even though I still love it and listen to it, I can understand why Jackson wants to improve his craft, and there should be nothing wrong with a close friend being honest with him surrounding this topic, or just joking even, especially since it's an opinion Jackson himself has already expressed. Jackson is such an authentic artist and person, the last thing I want to see is him stuck with a bunch of yesmen and no genuine friendships. 😢

I love this podcast. So real and so vulnerable. And yes the best advice for Jackson is to step away from the norm and find himself. As for marriage, there's no need to rush. The right girl will find her way to him at the right time and the right place. I've only come to know Jackson Wang briefly in the past 2 weeks and I can see and feel the loneliness he's experiencing now. Some advice from my past marriage, never rush it and know exactly what you want in your partner and vice versa. After walking away from a marriage during the pandemic, made me realize it's about my happiness and respect for myself to feel whole with the right person who wants the same in life as me. Jackson Wang, book your next vacation to South Africa. You'll appreciate the time away from the mad hustle and be able to recover and relax mentally, physically, and emotionally 🙏💫 Love and light ✨ Leanne Wong 💫

Interesting podcast. I feel like when Jackson speaks it's just raw and real. It's Jackson as a human being discovering and learning things about himself and about life and then expressing himself the way only he can about the things that effect him. Which is why I like him because he isn't trying to hide anything or make it seem like his life is perfect and he doesn't want people to have the impression that his life is perfect just because he's famous. I also like how he was putting emphasis on how fame isn't the end all be all. All that stuff doesn't guarantee happiness and it can be gone so fast. He's absolutely right. Anyway hope Jackson finds true happiness and someone who he can truly love and share his life and feelings with who he can build a strong relationship with.

I'm loving this conversation between adults, one in their 20s, another one in their 30s, and then one in their 40s. I love the different perspectives and I totally understand the thing about no negotiable things. See, of course I don't want to force you to do things you don't want to, that is not the point, but we all have ONE life and I would really love to have what I've been wanting since a young age, so it is crucial that our life plans match. If it comes to children it really needs to be an agreement from both parts. As a woman, I understand and appreciate the empathy Jackson has for his future partner, but I also understand what Ben and Anthony are saying, for the people who want to have kids it is really a deep and sincere wish, and I really don't think you have to sacrifice that. It's ok if the other person doesn't want to have kids, just try to understand each other if you both are not able to give the other what they want deep in their hearts. If you really can accept the fact that you won't be having kids with the present partner even if you want them, that is awesome, but if you feel this will be a huge regret in your life, then look for what will make you completely happy.

this podcast is so much fun and it feels very authentic. I came back for round two as i wanted to experience it once more. First of all the atmosphere is very familial and makes it so easy to listen and feel like like part of it, even though we cannot contribute apart from comments. I realy loved Anthony´s responses it is realy a concert to watch and hear him giving honest and smooth response to the questions and reveal nothing of his personal life. It is often perceived as superficial to talk about love life, but if we are honest the most important and impactful relationships are the ones with people we love in any maner. So sharing that experience is important , but also it should not harm or disclose details that would harm, the people involved. I admire many things about Jackson Wang, but his pursuit of authenticity is probably the most attractive trait and the most relatable one, but i often times hurt when i see how demanding and harsh he is on himself. It makes me want to hug him and say "you realy are more than enough exactly how you are". It doesn´t mean stop working hard, just give yourself some slack you cannot achieve 100% full blown red, just by working hard. giving yourself and your creativity the courtesy and time to be born, even though it hurts, is realy difficult but crucial. because there is no rushing the labour without causing harm in the same time. Hearing Jackson talking about art is so true and inspiring. our human experience is about sharing the lessons we aced and the ones we perceive as failed and how we are dealing with it. It helps us all, the one sharing has to put it in words and boil it down to what it was he/ she took from it and we often times did not take the time and effort to do it just for ourselves, but also for the listeners to translate it to how does it aply for my own situation and can I take something from it. So thank you guys all for being authentic and bold in sharing your lives and experience. But also for being passionate about what you do, it inspires others to do the same in their blessedly private lives❤
