Very intricate, almost working under a magnifier. I believe .32 was used by the German airforce who wanted a very compact sidearm. The .32 was also used by many police forces in Europe after the war. I guess cops wanted 'em alive, and crims taking the police to court for injuries during arrest wasn't a thing back then. Best wishes to the Kinsler bros for 2025!

Just a few questions: When you hot blue the barrel, is the bore finish removed after the bluing process, or is it lost during the passage of rounds being fired? I've noticed that some parts (forward of the frame, feed lips of the mag), are two different colours after bluing. Is this due to different tempering of those parts during manufacture? Finally, the seems to be three letters stamped into the slide ('ttl'?), near the firing pin assembly, but they're hard to make out. I have a 1922 C96, 7.63×25. Great vid as always!
@TheKinzlerBros20 сағат бұрын
No we don't do anything to the bore after bluing other than some oil when reassembling it. Those are just inspection marks from when it was made. That's awesome, they are fascinating guns! Thanks for watching

Beautiful restoration! It made me wonder, regarding the pitted barrel: let's say you wanted to restore a valuable, complete firearm to working condition and you don't want to discard the matching barrel. Is it feasible to bore-out the barrel and insert a new rifled sleeve? Bore & sleeve is a pretty common process in restoring machinery bearings, but I don't know much about restoring guns.
