I think we can all agree it was a given that they were going to take things back to basics for a sequel, considering how far and how big Payday 2 went, but I am curious if I am alone in wanting to have seen a little more of what could have been done with where Payday 2's ending was originally going, even if only as a spin-off.

Sorry but how can you justify working with a Prebuild company, with an 103% markup, I just threw together the same exact spec pc on PC part picker as the most expensive version, and that came to $1348.80, the only PC i know of that is worth more than that is my PC which goes beyond that spec with a 5900x, a X570-e, a 6TB HDD, a 500GB M.2, a 1TB Sata SDD, a 360mm AIO, a 1000w power supply, a lot of RGB, Custom induvial sleeved cables, the Corsair 500D SE for the same, a 3080 v2 OC (priced at what it was when i got it new), a 64GBs of 3600. CUT the fucking contract, these lot are the PC builders linus and other content creators tell people to a avoid

I'm calling it now, Shade is the head of whatever group tried to assassinate the Payday gang, Mack is loyal to her, and the real reason she's helping them after secretly trying to kill them is because Bain somehow escaped her sights when she tried to off him. Whether or not she wants to find Bain because of his old ties with the Arch and his role as the Watcher... Well, why would she make it a point to try and prevent any connections between her and the Kitaru so early on? More importantly, HOW did she know of their existence in the first place? Bain kept all his knowledge of the Arch related things very close to his chest, and I'm pretty sure something along the lines of 'Nationally Wanted Bank Robbers Defeat Sinister Shadow Corporation From Achieving Immortality!' didn't make it on too many headlines.

Right!? I'm so glad we got away from the horrible "stand around and wait for a thing to complete" gameplay from Payday 2! These new circles are exhilarating! Frankly if a Heist doesn't have them, I don't even bother to play them. There's just not enough excitement without that green on my screen!

As a PS5 player it sure would have been cool to be able to experience the story in any way. The fact it released and seemingly permanently is staying without any sound on cutscenes is truly incredible.

There's a cool way to get the full Mason speech on reach for the sky, you can take over one of the cameras overlooking his meeting from outside and then have a friend enter Masons apartment. He will wait to start his speech till the apartment is first entered and if you're watching on camera you can get the whole thing. EDIT: Interesting fact about Under the Surphaze that's not the subway exit that's the van exit, there's two subway entrances by the optional dumpster favor drop off point that can be used to exfil at any time after the required 4 paintings have been acquired and will remain useable until the assault starts.

i dont care what the lore is, they HAVE to add most of the legacy heisters (in my mind, Bonnie, Clover, Dragan, etc) and the DLC heisters, potentially with new voicing (Wick, Jimmy, Rust). You will never make the community happy without bringing their favorite heisters back for the nostalgia.

Hey Kknowley Great video! Where in your research does it say that Mason is dead after Touch the sky? I couldn't find anything in cutscenes or in the heist to suggest that. Also, what made you concluded 99 boxes was finished loud? Mason in his speech says Gold & Shrake was a "Hit" but 99 boxes was a heist. Great work as always, here's hoping Starbreeze can spin this narrative into something great. I was disappointed when they made so many decisions to cut plot elements from Payday 2 so quickly like Bain, Garnet and Murkey Water.
