Kevin, I was just wondering if you have ever researched how a guitar Luthier repairs damaged and cracked bone nuts? They use bacon soda and thin superglue. You can even color it with different shades of bone dust. I think this would be a great method to repair Bone handles on vintage knives. There are several very good KZbin videos on this subject.
