The balls to go that fast through thick dust is insane. Crazy watching you ride at this intensity for so long.

Wow, this brings back memories of desert racing in and around New Mexico in the 80's and 90's. 99% were riding 250 or 500 two strokes geared to the moon. There were times I was running 15x44 gearing especially at races around Elpaso and Alamogordo. Almost everyone was riding modified MX bikes due to enduro bikes of the day being underpowered with super soft suspension.

So cool to have a top guy like Josh that posts high quality content so consistently, we are all very lucky because it is rare! i strive to have the same quality in my videos but its harder than it looks!!

Using a high quality micro SD card makes a big difference as well as recording in 4K @ 60 fps with high bitrate. Even if you record in 1080 render in 4K / 60fps with 120,000 Kb/s bitrate. Otherwise YT will destroy your once glorious 1080p in processing. If your video editor doesn't get that fancy the free version of DaVinci Resolve is all that you need. Get an external battery pack so you don't run short. Also get a Windslayer for the audio.

I cut the same corner you did at about 5:05 going for a pass up to 2nd AM. I went over the bars thanks to a tree trunk... Ended my race with a possible broken wrist. Nice ride, bro!

Wow as a 2nd, or 3rd gear single track rider that pace is terrifying. Amazing though.

I race enduro and hard enduro. Going fast is not something that comes naturally to me. I've been spending a LOT of time practicing on easy tracks accelerating harder, braking harder, and just getting more comfortable being on the pipe in any gear. It's been rewarding and if you race I would recommend trying some time on a very easy motocross track, sand track, or grass track.

So tha'ts what that area looks like, I raced there years ago and had a head on with another racer, some campers in the area changed the coarse markings to come back onto race coarse going backwards.. Looks like a blast to race. great video..
