Really good riding man, great technique, give yourself more kudos, you deserve it! Thanks for talking about our freedom and how important it is to balance with environmental issues! Great job.

Great vid dude. So cool seeing gopro of one of these races seem few people ever put out videos of the hare and hound races and if they do it is 10 min video of mostly joking around in the pits and not pov racing. Great riding and racing dude.👍

That was cool. You were hauling through that one nice flowing wash, good ride.

Being a leisurely trail rider, I recognized so much of that course. I to have ridden in that canal over the water bridge, so it was cool to see you ride that section. Glad you finished without any major body or bike issues. Love the narration during this edit!

Great to hear! I really enjoy watching terrain that looks familiar as well. There are a few guys that post good videos locally. You could sign up for the trophy class and just do a 50 mile trail ride at the races! I’ve thought about doing it.

Me too!! That rock got brutal but luckily I used that move I showed you and got through it 🤣

That was a really fun course with a ton of variety but dang was I smoked at the end. You weren't alone in feeling the burn through the rocky gnar after the creek crossing! Back in intermediate class we did have some bottlenecks at those earlier ledges. Thanks for posting up the videos, nice work on those and the race! #181x

Thanks for commenting man! I was happy to hear from all of the different riders who were around. It’s always a good environment. Yeah, I bet just about everyone was feeling the burn in those rocks!

Good race! Good finish. It was my first Idaho ride. My GoPro failed so stoked to see your footage. I gassed out about mile 60. Still finished though. Loved the terrain!

Thanks for commenting! I’m glad you made it to the races! It’s a really hard 100 miles! Sorry to hear about the GoPro footage but unfortunately that’s common for GoPro!

I used to race alot of those races can't wait to come race there again, just hoping for saterday races more, everywhere else does, Utah,, Navada, Wyoming. Then you can recover on Sunday and go back to work the next day.

It might be pretty nice to have a recovery day but I don’t notice too much difference til the third day anyway! It takes me a few days to regain my full function!

I don’t remember the two ledges canyon being in the race last year but I could be wrong. That one was rough!

Random question. What if a rider crashes and gets hurt far away? Are their like “scouters” or some sort of EMS riders that go looking for injured riders?
@RacerRed Жыл бұрын
Good question. Other racers are supposed to stop if you appear injured. Also, there are sweep rider that follow the racers and make sure they make it.

Standard or heavy duty front tube? What PSI? What did you run on the rear?
@RacerRed Жыл бұрын
I am using a heavy duty tube. 14 PSI to avoid flats but still gets decent traction. Still running a bib in the rear with an 140 M5B but will likely switch everything to heavy duty tubes due to cost.
