NEW YORK VLOG: Exploring Manhattan, Ghost Busters, High Line & United Airlines flight to Tenerife 🇺🇸

Join me and Laura as we enjoy an EPIC Day exploring New York City, USA! We start our day early at Starbucks in the Empire State Building to get caffeinated and caramelized before we go to The High Line to see the new famous Giant Pigeon Statue (Dinosaur Sculpture). This is placed within the High Line, old railway track that used to be a functioning part of New York's transport system.
After walking along the High Line and looking at a giant Bird, we continued into Hudson Yards, taking a quick look at The Vessel which has just reopened and also inside the shopping center. The Shops at Hudson yards is a lovely shopping Mall with some very high end luxury brands such as Lou Vuitton, Rolex, Watches of Switzerland and much more! If this is your sort of retail therapy then we highly recommend going there as the shops were much quieter than on 5th and 6th avenue. Within the Hudson yards I also try out some food from the famous food and hot dog carts!
We then catch the Subway to Greenwich Village to try out the Famous Bleecker Street Pizza, a restaurant that has been featured on various TV shows and is meant to have the BEST Pizza slice in New York City! They also have some delicious Gluten Free Pizza so it was great that Laura was able to eat with me too. From there we take a nice city scenic walk to the Ghost Busters Headquarters building, catching a sight of the Fire Engine itself and explaining how you can bag some merchandise and souvenirs from there too if you are a big fan of the movies. We then end up in a Gorgeous Gelato Cafe called Figo which gave us a wonderful final sweet fix in New York with some gorgeous Pastries and Gluten Free Gelato.
We quickly go through Washington Square park before catching the Subway back up to Midtown Manhattan to get our Taxi back to Newark Airport to catch our flight to Tenerife South on United Airlines flight UA248. Newark Airport departures blew us away with its size, infrastructure, shops and restaurants! The flight with United was very smooth, where I slept the whole way before a nice early morning landing at Tenerife South, Canary Islands.

Hi Guys, Just finished watching this New York Series - Please note, you stressed me out by posting 2 more Florida Vlogs as I normally watch those straight away, but I had to finish this series before watching the Florida ones or I would be all mixed up what with one minute you're in cold New York, the next you're in sunny Florida, then back to cold New York (I couldn't cope with that!) ;) You asked for suggestions on where to go, and I have mentioned this to you before, but I really do recommend Gatlinburg, Tennessee for 3 or 4 days, then flying on to Florida (One of our 'Two Tier Trips') Right, I'm now off to watch 'Back To The Future' (1,2 &3) then I'll be catching up with you both in Florida! Andrew, you are a very unique (kind hearted) person, it comes through nicely - I do not know where you get the energy from to do all this, along with your busy work life / Laura - You deserve a medal for living with such 'energy' He he :) Len.

GREAT NY vlog Very informative as ALWAYS guys. My fav has to be that night skyline view. The underground would scare me and you would have to make sure you knew where your destination was ... imagine getting off at the wrong stop and you find yourself in the Bronx !! I love this series so much just watching you guys go to eat pizza and do things in New York and see things I've seen. I even got a kick out of watching you eat at the hard Rock I've eaten there a couple times I stayed at a hotel right across the street from that pretty nice views but the Virgin hotel was awesome I would definitely look into that if I went back. I love going to Jimmy Fallon in Universal 2 and ride in that and watch them throw the pizza it brings me back home🎉🎉

The train from Penn station takes you straight to Newark airport in about 20min. $18. Quickest way. Loved all the NYC Vlogs. Would you go back again?

To get to or from Newark Airport and Midtown Manhattan I usually take the Newark Express bus for about $20. There are three stops: Port Authority Bus Terminal, Bryant Park, and Grand Central Station. It's a proper coach where the bags go underneath. Easier than lugging luggage on to the train. But there is a train (under $20 last time I used it) from Penn Station on New Jersey Transit that stops at Newark Airport station and then you transfer to the airport Airtrain to get to your terminal. If you just have carry-on bags not too bad on the train.
