Join me and my Dad as we transform a back room in his apartment on Royal Palm in Los Cristianos, ripping out some old fitted wardrobes in a walk in closet. The room and space made in massive, so we are not sure what to do with it now?

Thank you Dena!! As you know Alan was my best friend !!! He collapsed and died with me on the golf course looking for my ball ( in Liverpool) we had so many fantastic years on our golf tours of Tenerife. He absolutely loved them !!! Those keys locked away all our stuff each year !!! 😢😢😢I do miss him !!

Loved this episode and the lovely words your dad said about his friend . Great idea for a walk in wardrobe, it could be a vanity area, get full size mirrors up, little vanity desk & stool, the women would love that. Or chuck a few bean bags in there, kids chilling room…..great looking apartment for families!

Great memories of Royal Palm. One or two ‘characters’ who stood out which I’m quite sure you would have encountered being there! 😂😂😂 Hoodie! 🥱 We had a place there for years then moved elsewhere on the island. It’s always kept pristine and Di has been amazing over the years. Thanks for the memeory lad.

Aww bless you,Alan will be with you always Paul. Perhaps get the keys mounted up in a box frame in the new owners cupboard? Precious memories. I have get too huge Georgian keys from the stairs door(?!) From the farm wear i grew up❤

Build a stud wall with a lockable door about a meter from the back wall. That can then be a massive owners cupboard and would free up the other one in the living area. You can then use the rest of the space with rails like your original idea.

You may want to consider adding some ventilation to the room, or removing the door, it may be contributing to the damp. As others have said you could use it as a walk in wardrobe or maybe a nursery / playroom for toddlers?
