Tenerife flight- AVOID this RIP OFF! Is it still good value in Las Americas? Value Restaurant 2024

Fly to Tenerife South with me! Join me on my Easyjet flight EZY3365 from Liverpool to Tenerife South Airport. I show the full journey, including Liverpool John Lennon departures, duty free and a very important tip regarding baggage and how to avoid being ripped off!
Upon landing at Tenerife we collect our Sanasty Rent A Car at the Airport and head to Los Cristianos to get changed and ready for a night out in Playa De Las Americas.
We go to Savoy Restaurant in Las Americas to sample their cheap 3 course value menu and to show just how much value is still available to tourists in South Tenerife. We also go to the Golden Mile to the Hard Rock Cafe at the Safari Centre to enjoy a cocktail with lovely rooftop views! We also call in at our very own Buddies Bar in Los Cristianos!

Our 1st visit was just perfect. We unpacked got some supplies from the shop and hubby had a cuppa then we headed out to explore, we went to dinner at Bora Bora whilst watching the sunset and was lucky enough to be entertained by a singer, it was just perfect. Also loved savoy the food and service was really really good. This time we're flying from Birmingham so will be glad to not have a long journey to the airport because Easyjet have added tenerife to their flights from Birmingham this April. Xxx

having visited Tenerife in Jan/Feb for over 20 years we now find it out of our reach. Food and dinks is still relatively cheap accommodation and flights are not. We find it more economic to go to Fuertaventura. So we still like to watch the Vlogers in Tenerife.😁

Andrew, the bag scam ‘rules’ that airlines have introduced has meant I am more often than not booking a package where 20+ kg of hold luggage comes as part of it. There is then no issue with what to do with suncream and liquids etc. I have just returned from a week on Fuerteventura with a package so no issues on cabin bags. In fact consequently, I have no reason to rush for a queue to get a bag in the overhead lockers. You are correct on Duty Free. In a Fuerteventura supermarket I bought a litre bottle of a well known Latvian vodka at euros 3 cheaper than The airport duty free shop.

Very informative Andrew, A lot of travellers do not realise that things may be cheaper on the island instead of buying "Duty Free". Also the Soltan hint was spot on and the meal deal at 4.99 was a great idea as you usually pay 3.99 to 4.99 in the uk for the same, saves a lot of money instead of buying on the aircraft which honestly is a bit of a rip off. Great info and as always a great VLOG. Hope your dad got the drains fixed without to much S**** to contend with LOL Have a great day!!!! 🙂

Just returned from 3 months Tenerife. I can concur everything is an average 30% more expensive since 2020. Beer is about 15% more, EJ flights 25%, restaurants 25%, apartments 30-50% more, especially since Feb. 2022. On top of that the south is still very crowded. Two hour wait to get on the Airport bus to Los Christianos. I may not return. 😔

Love the south, me and the wife stay up in San Eugenio, met so many friends there, we rent an apartment opposite Harley’s. It offers us everything we need, will have to pop down to buddies to try the cherry 🍒 moonshine 👍.

Our travel day routine, we try to fly as early as possible, we’re usually self catering so we get unpacked then get the groceries in. We always have dinner at Palms chippy then a few quiet drinks in PJ’s.

I have not been back to Tenerife for a few years. Would love to come out in October November price she’s getting expensive. Keep looking out for great deals. My brother has an apartment out there but he is not into renting it out or letting any family members use it but nasty I think but that’s the way it is at Graciosa with the blue roof just love watching your videos just been watching one now from Liverpool out to Tenerife. I am going to Majorca from Liverpool to Palmer, Nova Majorca I go there every June it is only two hours away and hot hot sun so lovely

The lad I went with paid £40 each way for his Hold Luggage, his never fit the carry on size limit, but he realised and took it to check in. That £96 is because theyre about to board, very costly mistake.

Manchester is a busier airport, with people travelling from all over the North. Hopefully with Jet2 going from Liverpool it'll become less busier, as most of Liverpool currently fly from Manchester. Trouble is the busier an airport becomes the more the airlines will increase their prices.

I think the rules changed last year so you have to pay around £26 separately for all large cabin bags the price of upfront and xl seats used to be at around £40 because of that but now they are around half

Hi thanks for the volg but I would recommend spf50+ not spf30 especially for your face with having eczema if your cream have a steroid in it you'll need a higher spf as the cream thins the skin especially when your living in Tenerife x
