The simplicity, one sheet of paper setting expectations of behavior at the executive level with personal and team accountability turned a massive organization around. Well done!

What a wonderful role model in business and life. It is so inspirational to see someone with ethics, integrity, and a moral compass that we all need to follow. What a wonderful father with so much love and compassion. He brings that into the business world which is so rare. Everyone should be blessed to have a mentor like Alan. The world would be a better place. Thank you for a wonderful podcast!

Alan is such an extraordinary leader--and a rare humanitarian. Sorry to say, even this far into the 21st century, most bosses I have encountered have been jerks. They are mean, greedy, and selfish. They want to be treated as Gods by their "inferiors". We could accomplish so much more as a society if we followed Alan's principles.

I love Alan. Hes spoke more about the consequences of not being on the team in this one. Teamwork works its as simple as that

Practicing Psychological Safety is, in part, about admitting mistakes without fear of retribution or retaliation. Wouldn’t it have been great to be in the room when Alan started clapping when someone trusted the culture and admitted they had red in their report.

Do you mean, on the right side of the screen, the (1) red-covered book (which is "The Extraordinary Power of Leader Humility"), or above that is the dark with white text ("Twenty-First-Century Jet: The Making and Marketing of the Boeing 777"), or, on the left side of the screen, the (3) black one with white text (which is "American Icon: Alan Mulally and the Fight to Save Ford Motor Company")?

I sure wish he would have been the one to take the lead at Boeing instead of that sack of crap McNerney.
