There was once a comment on there that changed my life, well not really, but it means a lot to me. Someone posted "they are both fat when they are giant", and the reply (the comment I am talking about) was: "You should see Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life when he wishes he was big." That comment right there introduced my 9 year old self to what is now one of my favorite shows of all time; I had previously seen mentions of the show when looking up SpongeBob stuff and whatnot, but this comment made me interested and got me into the show. The episode in question ("Short Story") used to be one of my favorite episodes thanks to this comment, but as time went by my favorite changed ("Tickled Pinky," "Power Trip," "Scrubbin' Down Under," and most recently "The Good, The Bad, and The Wallaby.") I've also created a character based on Rocko, named Chase; she's a female version of him (I just added eyelashes and different clothes.) Even though they look very similar, their personalities and surroundings drastically differ. I'm going to develop a series about Chase, whether it be a webcomic, physical comic (IDW or BOOM!), or even a cartoon on Nickelodeon. So what do you have to thank for getting me into a cult classic show and the precursor to the most popular cartoon on TV nowadays? A dumb cartoon based on Mario. Without this comment, I'd never improve my drawing skills, I'd never be on the road to fame and I'd never get into '90s Nickelodeon. I wish I could see it one more time.
