Over 20 years ago, I went to Hershey for the first time for my 8th birthday. I remember staying at the Hotel Hershey and the Reese's Cup visited for dinner which I loved. At the park I went on my first roller coaster, which was the Comet, with my dad. I was always afraid of upside down coasters, and then my school took a field trip there when I was 14 and my friends got me to ride Great Bear, which is now my favorite ride there. My husband and stepdaughter went to Hershey over the summer and she wanted to go on Great Bear with me, which was her first coaster all together. She was scared but she did it anyway!

Buy your ticket and parking online and they will refund both towards a season's pass in email! Got me, after promising myself some kind of reward for not buying Fast Track, instead went back with full ops and no school groups (watch out for early season weekdays). I'm guessing that Smokehouse plate was about $45? So far I can recommend Moe's, and don't forget the Overlook has A/C.

I’m confused about the early hours! If you, me and Joey are staying at the Hershey Hotel on August 25th, and we have tickets for the 26th, can we go in the park first free for 2 hours on the 25th? Starting in the back is a great idea. I like those drink stations. If I don’t have a collapsible cup, do they have cups there? I like that cashless option! Disney needs one of those rainy day passes….especially considering how expensive it is! Lots of excellent tips. Thank you K!

If you are staying at a Hersheypark resort, you can enter the park during the last 3 hours of the day on the 25th

You can get a free glass a water anywhere you go if you ask for water, that's for all day

Sorry I won't be going to any park the is cashless if they want no cash they can be cashless without using my debit card so they card charge extra on you for using it.. This is my opinion I've been there years ago and really don't need to go any more even tho I live in PA and live near 322 in North Central pa ... I quit spending my time in del Grosso park cause it was cashless so I left them cashless and spend my money at the two stores outside the park .

Getting the free Hershey bar at the end is what I remember the most, and it was a huge I mean huge giant sized Hershey bar. That was like 20-30 years ago though. I remember no one wanted to eat it after taking the tour through the Hershey Factory because of the smell lol. Now it's probably a fun size or kids size 😂 Nah just kidding, hopefully it's at least a regular size.
