I fished the flowage for the first time last year. My dad rents a cabin at Indian Trail Resort every year. We fished in the new Alumacraft you sold him too! hahah. Great little boat!

The second place you were at looks like a floating bog. I'd be curious to see how deep it is right at the edge of it. We fish a spot like that up in northern Minnesota every summer. Cast our slip bobbers right to the edge of that bog. It's like 12 foot deep there. Walleyes would come out from underneath to eat. Really cool spot.

Crappies quantity are usually on a 10 cycle like grouse. Some lean years and then some great years.
