Referees really need to get a grip on what a clean and illegal hit is. Lots of clean hits getting called for penalties.

I've not played for years and was never any good either but agreed... A lot of seemingly fine hits were called. There does not seem to be overall consistency 😅. Unsure if there have been any rule changes though.

I did have the "worst goalie in the state" (coaches quote) though so I had no choice but to dive in front of shots. Maybe that's not the norm lol
