Its not for piracy or a watermark lol, vocaloids are software entities by lore. It's a design choice to have their name and version written in the eyes like that like some sort of software version. It happened before for Miku too on some of the official MVs. The dude messed up tho cuz those are clearly Luka's eyes, not Teto's. (Luka is one of the more popular vocaloids like Miku).

Shizuoka Hio Technically she isn't a Vocaloid. She's an Utauloid, a seperate, free version of Vocaloid. However, UTAU (usually) is lower quality, especially compared to a Vocaloid. However, she has gained so much popularity, that she's even featured in Vocaloid Concerts (NNCP specifically). Sorry, it sort of bothers me when people mistake UTAUS wth Vocaloids.
