I think a reimagining of Sword Quest or Adventure would be interesting

Yeah, it would be awesome if they brought back Sword Quest!

I would like to see a modern version of Adventure. A bit like the Zelda Games a la Twilight Princess!
@TheLairdsLair3 күн бұрын
Yeah, it's quite a surprise they haven't done that actually.

I'd like to see a Castle Master remake, and a remake of Llamatron which doesn't eventually end up in a bullshit no-win situation. Yes, 32 years later and I'm still salty.

I'm actually surprised that Jeff hasn't done a new Llamtron actually, that's a great shout!

it would be hectic if you made a hybrid of 2 games into 1 like donkey kong and pole position
@andyauthor2007Күн бұрын
That will never happen because Nintendo owns Donkey Kong and Nintendo NEVER does anything with their IPs, and Namco owns Pole Position. Neither company would agree to combine their IPs like that so it wouldn't go anywhere. Besides, Nintendo wouldn't agree to do anything with Donkey Kong because Nintendo is Nintendo. Heaven forbid they would do anything with Donkey Kong. It's like Jr. Pac-Man. Heaven forbid Namco calling up At Games and trying to buy Jr. Pac-Man from them since At Games isn't doing anything with that IP. BUT NO... HEAVEN FORBID!

It would be neat if they could do an updated lightgun that's compatible with modern TVs. There's a few lightgun systems on the market, but I've heard that none of them are inexpensive. They'd also require game patches to work correctly, as modern TVs lack the precise timing of an old school CRT. At least that part would be doable on the new "plus" consoles, since they copy the cart before starting the game.

Excellent idea! I'd love to see this too!

I'm surprised they haven't done River Raid
@TheLairdsLair3 күн бұрын
They don't own it that's why, Activision/Microsoft do.

@TheLairdsLair ah I see. Yeah makes sense.

Atari needs to buy back the rights to Battlezone, then they could add Battlezone (arcade), and Battlezone (2600) to Atari 50. Next, Atari needs to call Blizzard and buy the rights to all the 2600 Activision games and add Activision Anthology to Atari 50. Last, Atari needs to call Stern and buy Cliff Hanger the laserdisc game.
@TheLairdsLairКүн бұрын
They probably own Cliffhanger already as they bought ALL of Stern's video game I.P. I agree about Activision, but I'd say it's very unlikely.
