I didn't realize this song was originally a poem and I found it in my Edgar Allan Poe book and was wondering why I could only sing it in my head instead of read...

I recently started reading Edgar Allan Poe, and I salute you for delivering this poem in the best way possible!
@JackSutterEtc2 жыл бұрын
There are two "best way possible" deliveries. Check the Vincent Price narration of the poem. With the music backdrop. Totally different. Same level of "best" delivery though.

I am speechless.....the words of Poe and the music of Voltaire........beautiful. The second I saw the title on Soundcloud.....I immediately thought of Poe's work...... This final product is simply beautiful.......

I truly feel, that if the great Mr. Poe himself heard this song, that by the end of the song he would be too drunk to know what’s going on, so you’ve achieved approval by default. I love it though!

I love Edgar A. Poe, and The Conqueror Worm is my mothers favorite poem of his. The meter and tempo on this song are exemplary!

Extra kudos, mi amigo, for singing "hither and thither." I can't even say those words without embarrassing myself. I might actually be able to memorize the poem now because of your wonderful orchestration of it.
