I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this album for so long… so many good songs! I swear Voltaire is the only artist where I fall in love with almost every song he releases… I tried making a playlist full of all my favorite Voltaire songs only to quickly realize I was basically just putting every Voltaire song into the list 😅 there were so many ones I didn’t want to leave out… in the end I guess I’m stuck just listening to the albums, which isnt bad because Voltaire is one of the few artists where I can just pick an album and listen, enjoying it without even feeling the need to skip any songs, because they are all so good and flow together so well. And it seems like the songs only get better the more I listen to them!

_"And when the walls of Earth rise up around you, rise to another plane, and wake up"._ Yep. In a vague way that sums up my life in the past few years. The world gets more terrible and crazy by the day. I always had conservative values and I respect myself and all who I meet (sort of on a higher plane there). Later I started heavily researching everything "taboo" or "conspiracy" related and now I'm very much awake. Voltaire is the best!

Behold, after four years of waiting, I have brought to you what I believe to be the lyrics! Wake up~ Open up my eyes to find life’s not as it would seem Who knows what goes there In your minds This life is a nightmare that leaches Rise to another plane Wake up~ Llaaaaaaa~ Open up my eyes Not as it would seem Wake up~ Llaaaaaaa~ Open up my eyes Not as it would seem Who knows what takes you Deep inside Won’t you fall in so far Some needs here Dreaming another lie Rise to another plane Rise to another plane! Wake up~ Llaaaaaaa~ Open up my eyes Not as it would seem Wake up~ Llaaaaaaa~ Open up my eyes Not as it would seem Here with me Hold up from the pieces that lurk inside Find a way out of this place Plan my escape and wake up! Wake up~ Oooooooooh~ Open up my eyes Not as it would seem! Wake up~ Oooooooooh~ Open up my eyes to find it’s not as it would seem! The terroring that covers up our lives What you want is right before your eyes Wake up… Wake up… Wake up… Wake up… Wake up… Wake up…

***** Life on this planet was always pain in the a**, especially if you dream about better places, but you can live with it. :) People complain about life being unfair, but fact is that you can return it to him and be unfair as well. It's just your problem if you choose not too.
@erwin2138110 жыл бұрын
Jerrod Jester Well I'm glad you're happy with your existence. A lot of us aren't though. And it's only made worse by the fact that we know this world could be a better place but most humans are just too stupid and/or wicked to do something about it. Ah well. C'est la vie. Not like it's my problem. :)
@ratglyph10 жыл бұрын
I am not really happy with my life, nor the planet. I just realise I won't change it by being depressed. Happiness is just state of mind, and I can by more effective in everything I do if am happy. :D
@erwin2138110 жыл бұрын
Jerrod Jester I don't have that kind of control over my state of mind. If I don't like the world I'm in then I can't be happy. :)
