Maharaj Sayajirao was visionary king..he introduced compalsary education to all for girls also Sayajirao Gaekwad believed in making education accessible to all, including those in remote areas. To achieve this, he came up with the idea of using bullock carts as mobile libraries at that era.

Aur rahi bat Maratha hone ki to chhatrapati shivaji raje ke sabase jyada forts hamare jile me hai.. Aur ha mera sirname khairnar hai.. Kabhi 96 clans maratho ke khandan dekhana usme Khair khandan hai... Meri mausi ka sirname wagh hai wo bhi hai.. Ahirrao, wagh, pawar, gaikwads ye sab hamare relatives hai...

Our village used to come under baroda riyasat . Sayajirao gaikwad made education compulsory when child attained 6 years of age . If you don't send child to schools than parent have to pay fine of 1 rupiya per year . He was visionary ruler .❤❤❤

This Sita Devi was married to Sri M.R. Appa Rao of the "Meka" surname "Appa Rao" family of Nuzvid, Krishna Dt, AP. He was MLA for several terms and worked as minister in AP govt. He also was tge VC of Andhra University. Very noble personality. Sri M.R. Appa Rao was very kind, benevolent and well educated. He had one son Meka Vidyut Kumara Appa Rao through Sita Devi. This son did not marry and his family tree ended there.
