Captain Anshuman Singh was awarded with Kirti Chakra posthumously. His mother and wife were present in the ceremony where President Draupadi Murmu awarded the chakra to them. While President Murmu was giving the award to the family, Late Captain Anshuman’s mother and wife were seen very emotional. His wife narrated the story how they met for the first time.
