A lot of people seem to confuse the U.S. National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service vehicles. In the U.S., only Forest Service vehicles are painted mint green...National Park Service vehicles, for the most part, are white with a green stripe down the side. Just my 2 cents....

I’m lucky to have one of the International Brush Trucks in that deco. I was into Matchbox and HotWheels when I was like 2-6. I didn’t collect, I just got what I thought looked cool (mostly fire trucks). I got back into them a couple years ago and now properly collect, however I still “play” with them. One of these fire trucks I had was that International Brush Truck. It isn’t in the greatest condition (wheels bent kind of, paint scrapes here and there) but it’s still awesome.

Yes they should! And with the square headlights W/T grille AND the composite (thinner style) headlights Silverado grille. To the GMT 400 series ( 88-98) GM truck enthusiasts, it makes a difference. There's almost 30,000 members on the forum, and lots of people all over the world love these trucks! And no other manufacturers have done the Tahoe this well.

Love this set! I'm sure collectors at that time didn't know it would go on to be so popular as today. I unfortunately was never able to get any of these but thankfully in 2016 I got the Dodge Ram. Hopefully I'll get some others soon. My top 5 would be: 1. International Brush truck 2. Land Rover Discovery 3. Dodge Ram 4. Chevy Silverado 4x4 5. Chevy Tahoe

I think I found a variation of the F-550 National Parks truck. It seems to be more of a lime green than the regular more mint green. Have you seen this before? I know you have em all.

I have 1 1947 chevy truck, 2 Dodge Coronets, 1 Backhoe and 1 Sea Spy boat all in NP color and markings. 3 1948 willys jeepsters but they do not have NP markings just the color.

I cant stand that water truck. I like the casting but i cant stand it in national parts deco. Seems really ironic and in a way disrespectful(?) because it's a MINING truck. Doesn't that seem ironic they used a mining truck then put national parks deco on it? Does that bother anyone else? haha

It's a shame that they couldn't get permission from the Feds to use the actual National Park Service and Forest Service logos. They would look much better IMO.

I agree. The actual logo would be better; although , it is not bad for a made up one. When they did the mail truck originally, it had a licensed us mail livery. Latter in a five pack they had a made up livery that was awful.
