In my opinion all Hot wheels should have side mirrors, especially premium casts, it actually makes a difference. The Mini is off scale completely, true 1:64 is key. Overall like the new colour line ups, best rolling cars and very durable.

The Team in Segundo is knockin' it out of the park with this group! I can't wait for the AMC set- I used to own an AMX back in high school and that updated casting is gorgeous. The liveries are looking great on all of these but a shout out to the Alfa Romeo, the Porsche, and the Volvo "weekend racer". YES PLEASE tell them we'd love more vintage racing stuff!!! They could do the 1971 McLaren M8f, re-release the Chaparral castings, the Gurney Eagle- all the stuff us 60+ year olds grew up with and wish we still had. Just look at the success of the Snake and Mongoose releases from recent years! PLEASE!!! And the recent Silver Series Vintage sets seemed to have done very well, too. Looking forward to your video on the vintage racing stuff!

Love Boulevard and got it complete up to #115. I hope they try to stay as true as possible to how Lamley describes it as: "the world of Hot Wheels." Does feel like it's a lot of just whatever casting they've used elsewhere recently to help from a cost perspective. Not always the case but does feel like it's creeping in - that new Alfa GTV6 being a prime example. Also two Meyers Manx in the space of maybe four mixes is not cool.

I've lost interest in HW especially the HW premiums, where I live these are competing with other premium brands like mini GT's in terms of price. I feel like i'm paying extra for the HW's brand which is not justifiable especially with those dot matrix printing.

Agreed! I can't find these "on the peg" so I'm left with going to a local "collectibles" store or eBay where I end paying WAY MORE than these are worth when I can get MiniGT, Tarmac Works and others with WAY MORE detail for the same price. The Pandem RX7 is a great example.

Because Hotwheels have always been toys first and collectables second. Every one of their cars (except Elite 64) is designed to work with their tracks hence the out-of-wack proportion and not being true 1/64. Could always go buy those grown-up brands u speak of 🤷‍♂️

Now is a great time to get OUT of the hobby. Scalping is at an all-time high, and Mattel is coming out with mostly duds. The few good ones are produced in such low numbers, you never see them anywhere. My local Walmart has about 50 of those stupid Porsche box sets, but when that NISSAN set came out, you never saw it. Mattel likes to do things like that. Which is why... it's a great time to get out of the "hobby".
