I just pre-ordered the orange BMW M3 from kaido house that looks like the Jäegermeister livery, super excited to get that one… I saw that MiniGt is releasing their first VW this year, I’m excited to see what castings they will make, so much potential and so many possibilities. Hopefully we get some kaido style VWs

Waiting on my e30 and the Purple lifted 510 wagon. Have the BRE 510 wagon, the Blue Evasive NSX, Tahitian Green Civic hatchback, and the Japan Police livery V2 R34 GTR, from Mini GT, I have Rexy and the Iron Dames Lamborghini. IMO, their quality is so much better than everything else for $15-20 dollars. Like you said, John, once you have them in hand, you really appreciate just how good the quality is, but also how unique and cool the castings are, in terms of those body kits and wheels.

Only recently got involved in collecting Kaido House, they are so detailed. Obviously closer to 1/55 than 1/64 but I love the modified scene and these are just awesome. ❤

16:59 the closest to real car livery is Car #32 Nissan Prince Chiba Falken R33 in N1 Endurance Series because of the color scheme (green with red splitter) and some sponsor decals placements but with different green. IMO it would be better if KH replicate liveries from JGTC R33 (because of widebody - JGTC runs R33 LM Nismo) than N1 Endurance Series (.. if its true this car livery is based from 1995 N1 series R33). Speaking of R33 LM Nismo, the R34 Shinjuku have some resemblance to the LM Nismo because of the color.

I'm a fan of Kaido House. The M3 is lovely. I can't wait to see what other liveries they do with it. And hopefully they'll sort out the headlights issue.

One side of the BMW casting is off such that the wheels are sitting too low. Or another way of putting it: The car has good stance on one side but is riding too high on the other side. This is probably related to, as another commentator said, the fact that the headlights on one side are messed up.

My friend got me the 510 ProStreet. As I was unboxing it, the back spoiler just broke off, and the front spoiler broke off on one side. I was being careful with it, but these cars are fragile. I had to glue the rear spoiler back on, no easy task. If you have had this experience, my heart goes out to you.

What scale do you suppose these things fall under? I put the Honda NSX next to a 1/64 Tomica Limited Vintage Neo and it was quite significantly bigger. I wonder if they fall into the 1/50+ range.

I'd say they're very different. Kaido-House specializes on those exaggerated style wide-bodies, which some like and some don't. Pop Races does regular (and racing) cars, should be compared to regular MINI GT instead.

Everyone has their own opinion, I personally don’t care for Kaido House whatsoever, i did fast forward to the BMW at the end just to see how they executed something other than JDM, it’s not too bad except for the Kaido House plastered all over the side and what looks similar to a manhole cover mounted to the front wheels.
