“Love” God gifted you a special little buddy to take care of and you gave him a wonderful life. He went out on his own terms living life to the last moment. He spared you from having to know when it was the right time to have to euthanize him to prevent him suffering. It does hurt to say goodbye but know that in the future his memory will bring a happy smile to your face. I hope you find comfort in sharing your sadness. God Bless you and your family.

Before we had children my wife and I cried like little heartbroken children over a Pekingese female named Pebbles. Only one night laying in bed but still, it was a sad night. Then 3 others passed from 2001- July 11th 2021. All sad. All loved a bunch. NOW we have 3 new Pekingese brats with 12 and 14 year old daughters... Life keeps on chugging along. Happy you two got to enjoy that 4 legged fuzzball for so many years.

Love. So sorry for your loss. My wife could never imagine me without a dog. I still have one but lost my Buddy 1 year a 7 months ago. His name was Buddy. He went everywhere all the time with me. Camping, Family events, Swimming I mean everywhere. He was also my work Buddy. He went to work with me everyday Landscaping. I always knew if someone was around the truck cause he would be barking. I miss that bark so much. He was 12. I did something I had never done in the past with other dogs. Normally I would have spent any amount of money and go to any vet that would help them be with me a bit longer. He had stomach issues since he was a pup. Well it became bad and he was in pain every night sleeping. I decided not to allow this pain to consume his life as he had never had pain growing up. He always put his big boy pants on everyday. I elected to have him put down while he still has his dignity and happy type life never to experience terrible pain and hospitals. It was so hard to do but he went in peace. Your pup was lucky to have such a caring family.

My man I remember my first dog ever(Yorkie) passing away I was in 3rd grade, came off the bus from school and my mom was sitting on the stairs crying and his name was King he got crushed by a handicap bus in my neighborhood and I was crushed for weeks and it was my first run in with death His guts were all over the street and the mark is still there Currently have my favorite Yorkie we’ve had ever(we have 3 atm) we adopted him from a family we knew that just had twins and they couldn’t give him enough attention His name is cooper, love toys, we have steak parties(no seasonings), comes for estimates but not mean bone in his body he is my soul mate LOVE
