Hola Danny, soy un hispano parlante que usa tus vídeos para aprender inglés (aunque te suene raro) y hasta ahora me doy cuenta lo complicado que puede ser para un no nativo del español tratar de comprender algunos verbos como "llevar" entre otros. Pero por suerte, vos sos un muy buen profesor y tus alumnos son afortunados de tenerte. Muchos éxitos para este 2021 !!!

Best way to teach language is reminding rules over and over like this 2:41. You are the best teacher I have ever seen on youtube. You should remind even obvious rules over and over . Thank you . I speak Turkish and my English is weak but still I can learn Spanish from videos. I knew nothing about Spanish when I started your videos 2 months ago.

I remember llevar as "take" by thinking of "to lift" (to levitate). "He gave his son a lift to the shop." I would add, "llevar a cabo" = "to carry out". El consultador levantó a cabo un estudio del aeropuerto = The consultant carried out a study of the airport.

I was taught in school that it means "to wear" but my Jaliscan friend argued that it means "to take" and my mom was taught "to carry" it is honestly a pretty interesting word I do wonder how it got so many meanings.

Wow! If a word has more than 12 meanings or definitions which are completely different, than that is not a word, it's a language screw-up. Wonder who coined this word "llevar"; whoever it is, he must be a nut case.
